[X] [NTA] Agree to the Urthdysh proposal of closer ties and engage in formal talks on the details. (+2 Temp Diplo, +1 Stability, ???)
[X] [BF] Make a major effort to hunt them down. (???)
[X] [FK] Fully subsidise the Forluc Kingdom. (+2 Diplo, +4 Temp Diplo, +3 Prestige, -10 Temp Wealth per a turn, -2 Temp Tech per a turn,)

@Oshha, would this negatively impact our own economy? Because otherwise I'm all for this.

In what way? If you are referring to subsiding the Forluc, then your economy as it currently is can handle it indefinitely. That said, beware for changes to your own economy and you will want to get more wealth or tech so that you more of it to spend while subsiding the Forluc.

I don't think that going for deeper ties is a good idea. It's more likely to get us a point of Legitimacy and it'll complete the Warriors' quest, which will give them more power, and they already have enough power. We're going to go back up to 3/3 Stability next turn anyway as part of our effort to get the Theatre, so the penalty of failing the quest doesn't really matter.

An Epic Age deserves Epic deeds.

Just in the way that even trying to do so would crash our economy.

So that meets my concerns right there.

We should make a major effort to drive the boarfolk from the lowlands. We're this close to eliminating the slave trade in the region and we really want to discourage the boarfolk from attacking us as much as possible. The more effort we put in now to chasing them out, the less we have to worry about future boarfolk raids and conquest.

We're near towards the finish line. This isn't the time to slack off, it's the time for a last big sprint.

Go for a major effort. We want to make attacking us as painful as possible, otherwise it'll just encourage them to try again. Furthermore, leaving the northern lowlanders to be enslaved by the boarfolk after we just fought a great war to end slavery is bad. We are very close to getting a total victory and putting in only some effort may rob us of that total victory.

Just enough effort to get them out of our hair. Hunting them down to the last man would encourage them to fight to the last. Expensive in blood, that.
@veekie, they will not fight to the death. They'll fight, and then if they'll lose they'll run to the step. And the vote isn't to kill literally all of them, it's just to drive them out of the lowlands. If they leave the lowlands and go back to the steppe, that's where it ends. 'Some effort' vs 'major effort' isn't about the scope, about how many we kill, it's about our commitment. 'Major effort' means we fight until they're driven back into the steppe while 'some effort' means we stop if they put up too much of a fight. We do not want to chance leaving them in the lowlands. That will only lead to more blood later as the nomads are encouraged by their success.

EDIT: Furthermore, Oshha said that the rewards for completing the epic age depend on how well we do. If we do 'some effort' and fail to drive them back into the lowlands, we'll get a lesser reward. This is on top of encouraging future nomad attacks by allowing them to keep their petty kingdoms.

EDIT2: Just to make it clear, 'some effort' vs 'major effort' is not 'drive them out of the lowlands' vs 'kill them all', it's 'try to drive them out of the lowlands and stop if they fight too much' vs 'try to drive them out of the lowlands and keep at it even if they fight hard'.
