So, before everyone gets too freaked out, allow me to share some discord knowledge. (Theorycrafting, so don't take it as 100% set in stone)

So far we know of two different types of Gods: Concept Gods and Faith Gods
Concept Gods are tied to specific things, like Arthwyn and the All-Boar are tied to their Chosen people. They do not gain power from faith, but at the same time are not molded by their followers after they have fully formed.
Faith Gods are tied to the beliefs of their worshipers, like Wyrn and Evalyn. They are more mutable, and can have the outer parts of their identities shaped by their followers (even as the Core remains).

As an apt analogy; one is essentially a self sustaining generator (concept) while the other constantly needs energy to fuel it (faith)
This is why Arthryn is able to keep to her values even as they are not shared by the majority of her followers, and why Evalyn was able to gain cat features as part of her ascension.

Why is it even primogeniture? Almost all of our great heros have been women. All of our gods our women.

Hell the last few leaders of our two allies have been women, wheres this first son nonsense coming from?

Primogeniture isn't the firstborn son, it is the firstborn child. It has just been the son historically for the most part due to historical sexism.

The Arthwyd are practising absolute cognatic primogeniture rather than agnatic primogeniture or agnatic cognatic primogeniture.

Primogenitor just means first born. Agnatic Primogenitor means male only while Cognatic primogenitor means equal preference (at least in CK2 terms anyway.)

Do note that Arthryn was originally a faith goddess before she got a fixed identity and stopped being open to change.

Statue Prison Conversations Part 1
Like a kid who has been grounded by her mother and believes that she was in the right and shouldn't have been punished.
You know, part of me wonders of Arthryd has really thought things through, locking the three of them together like that.

"So, we all agree that what we did was justified and mom just totally overreacted, right?"
"Yeah!"
"Change it to great-great-great-grandmother, and it's true."
"She wouldn't even be a goddess if it weren't for my work! I work hard on creating satisfying narratives decade after decade, but as soon as one of them hurts her precious ideals, suddenly it's a grave sin. If I knew this would've happened, I would've gone with the moral that the key to Arth and Vryn's greatness was careful grain management..."
"And how comes she gets to claim that we are all born equal, and then has to physically change my body to match the rest of the People's in order to recieve her blessing? Sure sounds like some birthrights make people more fit than others."
"Right right, and we know that hereditary systems work! The Maradysh have been using it for, like, ever, and funnily enough things have mainly gone wrong when someone not using one was ruling our people from afar."
"... Sorry about the mass murdering of your people, by the way."
"Eh, it's all water under the bridge by now and I say we managed to make good use of the situation in the end. Besides, I grew up hearing stories about how you had to take over from the incompetent priests, you had to learn a lot about ruling in a way too short time. I spent my entire life preparing for the throne and I still occasionally feel like it wasn't enough, it's a wonder nothing else screwed up."
"Good to see the stories I wrote are still being passed on~"
"Wyrn, you always know exactly who is telling your stories and where. That was slightly creepy to learn."
"A girl likes to be told anyways, silly."
"Right, I forgot for a few blissfull seconds. You're a weirdo."
"Speaking of girl things. Bronwyn, I have to ask: You could've had literally everyone in both peoples wrapped around your finger, and yet you choose to go with him? What exactly where you thinking?"
"What? He was nice..."
"Details, Cadlon, details! I need to know the specifics if I am going to inspire an epic like it in the future"
"Well, for one thing he-"

This is definitely an accurate description of how two sibling-goddesses and two Cadlon speak to each other.

A Pantheon was the best idea to go with, multiple sources of divine authority is the road to stability and order.

Very much awaiting part 2.

I was expecting more depression and/or fan girl-ing, to be honest.
Arthryn believes in free choice and the right to make your own decisions even if they are stupid-ass decisions in her opinion. If everyone wants a heredity monarchy, they can have so long as it doesn't come at the cost of Born Equal.
So basically it's like a constitutional monarchy or something? As in, monarchy bounds by the rules of constitution, and said "constitution" only involves the values of free will and equality.

That is surprisingly progressive of her.

Only if the constitution was an unofficial agreement not to piss off the most powerful goddess around by doing something she explicitly told you not to do as it would incur her wrath.

I frankly dont really care about whose in charger i just want our goddess to be happy with us since, lets be honest here she has carried us for most of this journey.

Personally I figure Wyrn saw an opportunity and jumped on it. Once the heroes pass, monarchy would have been a hard sell even with divine blood.
Its actually pretty well timed. Monarchy IS rather effective in the Bronze Age if only because of material limitations and we're getting close.
