So they lost a few thousand, and we lost a thousand, but that's only what we can see. We don't know if Urth is continuously growing his army.

But he also lost everything in half of his core lands, that heing the cursed forest.
We had around a 3 to one exchange rate in casualties going by few thousand. So we definitely did take out some of his troops.
Given that we had 1000 troops he resurrected it makes it a two to one loss ratio.

Half of his territory is nothing if we don't hold the territory, nor does the figures account for the unknown growth rate of Urth's armies. Negative, positive? We don't know, because we don't know what he's doing other than not attacking us.

Half his territory is something if we keep pushing. Its not like he can rebuild half the forest while being under attack at the halfway mark.

Something I feel you guys need to remember that our losses were losses in battle; their bodies being maimed and mangled is likely to be the norm.

Chances are, a decent chunk (heck I'd even say most) of our casualties are likely in no condition to be reanimated as combat-capable undead, being sufficiently maimed to more than offset the boons of our blessings or even to be reanimated in the first place.

For all we know Urth completely rebuild his forces by killing a ton of Lowlanders or something. We. Don't. Know. And this lack of knowledge is unacceptable.

We are already doomed. 14 votes to 13 against intelligence gathering.
Thats why i said pessimistic and defeatist before, you guys act like there is no way for this to succeed. Can it backfire and fail? Yeah, byt so can nearly every other action. Just because it can, doesn't neccesarily mean it will.

We don't even know if we had a good chance of winning or not! We're shooting in the dark, praying, hoping for a victory based largely on guess.

So Oshha, which one wins? The Study Metal or War Party?

Edit: ...I probably should have removed my vote on War Party before the vote closed in

What I said was that the chances of you not losing were slim and that not losing an army was unlikely.
