Part of me feels the trick here is that Urth is planning on becoming a God.
So what if he thinks that if he gets a larger religious base then he is going to turn into a stronger god - possibly strong enough to make a play for the rulership of the Pantheon he may think?

Urth can't and Urth is knowledgeable enough to know it. Urth wants to keep away from Arthryn and keep her from coming after them.

I see what he's trying to do now, he knows a military fight will always end in a stalemate so why not win the cultural war? In essence use his daughters to slowly turn the men away from worshipping Arthryn and then the subsequent families will worship him. In due time he could gain a male body to posses and if that fails? Ascend to Godhood when enough people are worshipping him. Quite devious and with a high chance of suceeding too. Even if all that fails, he would gain the Maradysh quite easily and fuse them with the Caradysh to form an Empire to take the lowlands. The Eternal Empire of Urth has a nice ring to it and then use that to achieve Godhood.
Problem here is that if we do not accept any of these offers, the Maradysh are likely to rebel in few turns.
They are too easily swayed and the hate toward the People born from the thread's decisions on hero selection and bad dice rolls back then, will lead to them willingly siding with Urth over us. Not accepting will also cause the people to look like warmongers for continuing this war.

Hmm. So Urth wants peace so that Arthryn won't have a reason to go after him/her/it and probably knows a bit about Arthwyd culture and views so knows that so long as their is not peace the Arthwyd would continue to attack and in doing so bring Arthryn to wreck him which would be a major threat.
He probably cares little for what he has so long as he gets the time needed to ascend to godhood.
Then we shall do what we should, in hindsight, have done before. Because we must face it, the Maradysh have been a giant mess from the very beginning: their influence changed our government but their people never actually converted properly, their irrational fear of the lowlands left us cut off from whoever lives next to their border, and they won't even help us in battle against our mutual foe as is their duty.
They have taken advantage of our kindness and tolerance too many times. If they break off now, there will be no easy forgiveness.

Frankly, Urth feels like the antagonist that shall never die. You know, someone who The Plot just won't allow us to kill.

Gotta agree I don't trust Urth at all. Seems like a poisoned apple.
Also kinda surprised that narratively we're even given this decision, I mean he's basically the devil, not only does he work with undead but also has taken our bodies and divine blessing and created a twisted blessing. Seems like peace shouldn't really be valid at all for a civ like ours that is so invested in our religion.
I wouldn't go so far as to say he has plot armor but if we kill him again and he revives it just becomes kind of annoying. The best option at this point seems to be having him ascend as fast as possible then our pantheon can just kill him. Shouldn't be any revives for a dead god.

Okay this opens a potential hole. Once again, Urth does not want to tango with the Goddesses, so that's nice to remember.
Culture war-Do Not Want. Urth can Mind-Control people, and his daughters don't age. Given enough time they'll have tenure and be able to work all sorts of shenanigans, on top of having swiped our Beauty.
Martial- we'll need time to prep a new set of Catclaws and Cateyes. Plus all of whatever Urth's been building up in that Forest...Though we DO now have a Holy Hot-spot that the Goddesses might be able to do shenanigans with...Hrrm.
Mystic-interesting. Urth probably has more magic for the general populace (see all the Undead), but he doesn't want to tango with the Goddesses. Personally? I bet it'd be worth it to stick with the ladies.
If we made them vassals, we would be bound to protect them - just something to note.

I feel like this could be a poem of some kind.
Urth is definitely trying to use this to become a god. They studied us right? So I'm assuming they know about the assimilation of the all-seeress? I'm sure treading on an already worn narrative rut into an established pantheon is much easier than bootstrapping your way up to sole divinity.
