From the look of things, it is a narrative vote about strengthening the ruling family by giving them the precedent of just taking all heroes into their own family and making themselves more special.

Some people don't want the monarchy to work out. Also for me? I want our vassal to have heroes to help them get their stuff together since they've got basically no infrastructure and a ton of settlements.

A: Dragging heroes away from our subordinates means that they will be weaker than they would be otherwise.
B: Tying all the important people to the royal family will strengthen it, and therefore the monarchy.
C: Omegahugger does not ship it and will therefore pout.

Yes, I realise that all three of these can also be considered reasons to do it depending on your priorities.

Is Arthryn going to end up with a domain over Earth? I mean she's the mother goddess and already controls stone apparently. She's basically a better version of Gaia.

Because some people might be against marrying them to the eldest son of the current heir. You already got people in the thread worried that it might increase the power of the royal family or they want the Maradysh to keep their own heroes to help them consolidate their holdings.

As for the catch, I won't say what it is if there is one at all. I just didn't want people to vote under the mistaken impression that polygamy isn't something that happens on a regular basis.

The value upgrades and the grand temple effects were determined by a mixture of the winning votes with all three influencing each outcome to different degrees. It wasn't one option caused this and another option caused that.

Do note that it is not going to be seen as stealing in universe. Just three people getting married, happens all the time in Arthwyd.

If anything, the Maradysh will be happy that some of their people got married into the royal family, especially the person who will be the heir once the current heir is Cadlon.

The rolls were made shortly after I closed the vote if I remember correctly and were definitely made after I closed the vote.

Also, it is technically the old PoC discord that has been repurposed for this quest.
