[] [SEC/MAIN] Build New Shrine = (Target)
S: -2 Temp Econ, +1 Shrine (+1 Mystic per 3 Shrines),
M: -4 Temp Econ, +2 Shrines (+1 Mystic per 3 Shrines),
-Possible Targets: Greenbay (3/3), Rockbay (1/1), Sunrise Bay (1/1)
What would happen if we kept building shrines without a settlement to put them in? For example... Greenbay (12/3).

And then if we built settlements, would the settlement be built around the shrine, or a fair distance away?

That is one of those things you will need to do first before you find out the effects of doing it.
That actually might be worth doing. If only to have the goddesses power right in the face of those who scout the Arthwyd out.

Cultural goddess faith spread through observation of religous shrines maybe?

Oh man, that's so much stuff that doesn't get us that coveted 3rd action. If we can just get that 3rd action going for us, we'd be in so much better of a situation.

Is there a way to increase our action economy without increasing workload on the QM?

E: I supposed integrating wall building and trails into establishing a new village is effectively increasing our action economy.

Are we scheduled for a Golden Age soon?

Edit: Nevermind, that's a stupid question.

QM has mentioned the potential to make any new settlement start with Shrines/Palisades/Trails. That would significantly improve action economy. It has the significant drawback of being limited to those things, so its not nearly as good, but well... The better is the enemy of the good and all. We don't know how to actually make that happen, but ensuring all of our current settlements have those things, and then building any new settlement with a shrine/palisade/trail, with the remaining two done the next turn, and that happening with every new settlement for a generation or two, might do it.

Getting new tech/discoveries also has the potential to help in this way, as with our more farming action, it now gives us +2 temp econ as opposed to the +1 it used to give, making it a more efficient task.

Further policies are apparently a thing that exist within the QM's system. Though we've not yet unlocked those. They apparently act as a kind of background action, that consistently takes resources away, but do things like continued mega-project support without us spending actions on it, though whether that would be something that increased QM's workload significantly or not I'm unsure.

I'm not aware of anything else we could do to improve our action economy beyond the basic 2 province system. Its possible some other combination of things would allow for merging of actions via repeated use. Such as, recruiting more sacred warriors and venerating the goddesses together multiple times or the like. Things that have the narrative potential for the People to decide they go together, and thereby merging them as an action in a similar way the shrines/palisades/trails could theoretically be merged with the settlement action. Though any such action type would likely have the costs of both actions combined. With all 3 infrastructure types being added to each settlement at once, that would significantly increase the cost of the action, but doing it alongside a more farming action might be viable? Certainly any such merging of action types would improve our action economy greatly. We'd likely have to do so by repeating the same combination of actions multiple times, though, not necessarily in a row. Of course, this is pure speculation on my part outside the idea of infrastructure being added to the settlement action.

So, what do the Random God Numbers have for us today? Seven extra heroes? Spontaneous divinity among our people? :p

Some guy called Mag-Lyan, or something, shows up in a giant ship that's far more advanced than anything we have and wants to trade with us. And by trade he means "give me all your valuables or I'll slaughter you all".

I hope the Maradysh didn't kick off when their overlords, who killed so many of their fellows, just turned up and incidentally reminded them that they killed loads of their people not that long ago.

Edit: Oh dear, It's never a good thing when I'm rated insightful, I never have anything positive to say.

Ah, anti-imperialist uprisings already? Too bad we're not in an era where those could be a bit more.... revolutionary.

Let's not do the whole "QM implies something bad and everyone descends into a salt spiral" thing again folks.
It got old the last few times y'all did it. :V

Something bad? If the Maradysh rebel, that means that not making them our vassals has retroactively become the correct action to take back then.

Through means I had no control over, I will get to be all smug and annoying for minutes.

No matter wich action we took it won't change the core of the problem, that we killed quite a number of them (their warriors at least)

But on other hand they did attack us first, instead rebelling against their undead overlords.

At least now we can strike them down and keep them down as they slowly assimilate our religion.
Meanwhile, considering the lowlander gods should be pretty weak given their situation (most of their people dead, barely any shrines to their name, and facing off against the giants of our pantheon.), makes me raise the question...
@Oshha is it possible for our gods to kill the lowlander gods?
