Coruscant can be found in canon Worm as one of the shards that the Fairy Queen names: the Coruscant Knave, AKA Chevalier, leader of the Chicago Protectorate.
Any quote on that? Because she calls him Destroyer at the start of Ward. Weird for her to switch like that.
That's... actually, I would guess that Radiance is Purity. IIRC, Glory's shard is "Waste" or "The Wretch" or "The Fragile One". (Though I guess that could be a difference from canon, here.)
Any Ward information isn't relevant for Sanctioned.

I wonder if Taylor will be the Hell's Hand Arcology.

Also, can arcologies move?
At this time in BAHH quest setting, all arcologies are built around Valkyrie cores. They can all move around if needed.

However, the term arcology specifically refers to a valkyrie frame that primarily functions as civilian habitation, so most of them don't need to move. A few do still fly around as a flex basically, but most do not.

It would be complex for the infrastructure of the various dependent systems around arcologies if they all flew around all the time. Is simpler to keep them on the ground.

What would you call a mobile Arcology then? I mean, obviously Hell's Hand isn't one. Its too damn small, all things considered. It works out as a Hidden Bunker, or a FoB in Africa, but otherwise its just not big enough to really be called an arcology.

Maybe a Mini Arcology? Proto-Ark?

Symbie's little big sis that looks out for moma Taylor?

That...doesn't make sense. The boy's core came with a pre-set loadout, but allowed anyone to sync with it, to the point it was used to test for compatibility with Valk Cores. It just wouldn't accept other weapons, and kept the weapons it DID have locked away unless it deemed the user ready for/worthy of them.

I also remember that people that didn't qualify for the 300, after gaining experience with Valks, did qualify, so if nothing else the "Yes/No" option can change later.
The quest this is based off of is a parody of battle harems.

Koujirou is the "main character" of said hypothetical battle harem.

His core is special. That it might seem at first glance to function similar to a 300 but isn't qualified to be one(weapon systems seem to weak to be a 300, but are upgrade as he becomes more "worthy") is a feature of that type of background.

Also when they talk about cores not coming with a pre set frame… that means when found. Cores given to cadets already had a Valk integrate a frame into them before hand, since integration times aren't instant. If they didn't it might very well take weeks or months before a cadet could actually use the core in combat simulations. Furthermore, with cores having different loadouts on them, first years could switch between multiple cores and find loadouts that they are more comfortable with, allowing them to test things out without having to deal with integration times each time they test different weapon systems.

And Valks that don't "qualify" for the 300 don't qualify in the sense that the U.N doesn't allow any but the best use them, not because they can't.

Any Valk can use a 300, but only an ace is allowed to do so, and only if approved, and often not even all the time.

Arcologies do not have size limitations, neither maximum nor minimum, merely requiring it to be a self-sustaining residence and work area for a population. One is a population just as much as a million is. A mobile version of an Arcology is likely to be an Ark.

Hell's Hand has been called an arco on camera - when the explorers reached the cathedral room with the spacial warp obscuring it, there was a line something like "Excuse me, did you just suggest we get in an impeller wrestling match with an arcology!?"

I don't have any backing for this but:
The 300 are called that because they are the only known Cores that fall in that category. It is possible that there are some 300-class Cores somewhere that nobody knows about. It is also possible that some Cores just don't reveal all their capabilities to just anyone. Remember, the Cores are sentient?... sapient?... self-aware.
Or I'm talking out of my ass. Dunno, haven't read all 900+ pages yet.
Hey @Avalanche, how wrong am I? If is not a spoiler.

I mean, we know at least one thats kinda that. Harem Mc Kuhn's core is basically that.

Now, as for the new shard names. Based on the known names, I'd guess they are all from Brockton Bay capes. My guess is:

Ambassador - really can't think of anyone for this one, maybe Othala or Regent, in a roundabout, reversed "make ambassadors" way?
Contamination - no clue, maybe Mush?
Cultivator - Victor
Conductor - Regent, maybe Grue or Purity
Animation - Rune or Parian, maybe Golem (whose shard's existence at the start of Worm is debatable)
Dilation - Fenja and Menja? Velocity?
Razor - Hookwolf, or perhaps Allfather or Vex
Inheritance - Butcher probably

Random question. Does the military use these things like airborne versions of that Mobile Offshore base concept the Navy floated like 10 years ago? (Or Arsenal Gear) Ie your one stop shop for supplies, air basing, transport, a metric ton of missiles and more AA guns then the entire US Navy during WW2.

While I respect the attempt, there are way too many doors (a couple hundred) to use only the capes from BB/etc. Taylor heavily supplemented well-known shards with ones that QA didn't interact with much (AKA filler).

While Alivaril already weighed in, I would say that Animation is more likely to be Mush if BB capes were the only ones being used, and Contamination Rune since she has to touch things to use them, or else Butcher if (s)he counts.

Those are, indeed, correct. A look through Sanctioned and Splintered yields more names (guesses questionmarked):

New in Calibration: Ambassador, Contamination, Cultivator, Conductor, Animation, Dilation, Razor, Inheritance.
. . . Wouldn't Animation be a fit for Parian? A̶n̶d̶ ̶C̶u̶l̶t̶i̶v̶a̶t̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶o̶s̶s̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶o̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶D̶a̶u̶n̶t̶l̶e̶s̶s̶?̶

Also, I initially thought Dilation was Clockblocker...

EDIT:
Dangit, didn't notice @curiosity's post. /facepalm

FWIK from canon:
Victor is a skill thief so Cultivate could be a possibility.
Rune's shtick is making things float, I think Parian is a better fit for Animation since she actually does animate cloth.
Thinking about it, Velocity fits Dilation.
The others, I have no idea atm.

@Alivaril No dog house with Broadcast written on it?

Just like... a whole normal sized lot, and in the middle is a little dog house. :p
It would also have a giant ass set of speakers constantly blasting Wub-metal at the maximum volume at a pitch just bellow human hearing but still painful to be around that is wired into a massive gas generator for power all of which dwarfs the doghouse. If you ring the door bell on the gate outside of lot it explodes.

Cores, if they are sapient, do not interact with Valks so far as the UN in the original quest is aware.

Here you better ask Alivaril.

No, not arcologies. Arcologies don't get placed in high threat areas. Valk BBs or Air Carriers serve that role.

I believe that they were all found in a single site. They were all there that once, and there have been no others anywhere or anywhen else. That is just an established pattern, it doesn't conclusively prove that there cannot be any others from the set, but it does make for a compelling argument that there won't be any others.

I'd guess that the observatory 'gun'...is actually an observatory. Except it doesn't exactly need line of sight to view things. And may currently be looking either at QAylor in Perth(which causes great alarm) or where QAylor was found.

It could also be looking at the moon base. I'm certain that the UN would be pleased as punch if she's gotten some good pictures of their little project up there. From a tiny little observatory. Located underground.

I already read that wonderful scene.

As a kid I used to think people from the west ate like, 5 breadrolls for lunch or something. Kinda just stuck around since I've never really known what a western lunch is like.

Like, is it just a sandwich? A slab of steak? French fries?

Swedish person here and i can confirm that to lunch we only eat white bread with butter, milk and a slab of salted pork. Sometime we spice up our meals with potatoes.
