Huh. So apparently there might have been a bit of that vengeful karma wave that combined with Adam, to get that predatory mindset. Because honestly, those comments of 'hungry' and 'tasty' there, while also very creepy/disturbing, kind of fit in with what I'd imagine there being in the mentality in the 'anti-BROB' whatever that was.
Also puts forth the idea that 'Sadism' might also be the same kind of being as the bits that got merged into Adam. But if not, there is a bit of irony that being a Benefactor wouldn't have necessarily caused as many issues as the parasite seems to have thought. Barring the idea that 'CYOA' and 'Jumpchain' are two separate 'species', with the parasite only preying on Jumpchain Benefactors. Which, if I'm reading this right, a 'Core'/Jumper might well create the Benefactors, with this parasite then intercepting/infiltrating and destroying it to take the place. Would explain why Sarah might not remember the original benefactor. Also lines up to why Adam got linked to the Warehouse as he did; The warehouse would literally be the Benefactor, rather than it being something due to there being so much damage.
There's also the sad probably confirmation that any pre-Adam Sarah's are pretty much gone forever barring time travel shenanigans which Adam (but not Sarah) are pretty much against. At the likely best, there would be records, something that might end up being obtained when Adam devours the Parasite. Along with maybe the dumped pieces that Adam hadn't gotten to just yet, due to them not being there. To be honest, that's a bit more of a 'upset the parasite even more', with the idea that everything it lost? That it had to give up? Taken, restored, and made better that it could. That, combined with Sarah obtaining what the Parasite 'gave'/took from/denied her, would just be even more glorious of a final moments for it to realize.
I suppose it might be possible to do a 'recreate the damaged' as a 'good as new' sort of situation, but there's probably only so far that Adam or Sarah could take it. Like the destroyed realities? Probably not. Really depends on what all the Parasite ended up doing, especially in areas where Benefactors would be around. It's also not likely to be able to recreate/restore the taken Cores, without maybe pulling a Chrono Trigger style saving thing, and that would be Sarah, without Adam, for obvious reasons. Outside of maybe a 'this is what it looked like in the past'. A solution that has the philosophical problems. But hey, it mirrors some of what is going on here. And it is possible that the Parasite didn't fully destroy all those Cores. Maybe it even kept them, deeming them as 'vital'. If not, then Adam might be able to spot them floating around.
I also somewhat wonder if the other Adams have that same Hunger for parasites. I'd imagine that the reports back from Warehouse Adam might end up causing one of them to start making some support stuff. Even if Warehouse Adam does something like that himself. I can already see the Benefactor/Core 'offspring', where Adam sends out additional Warehouse 'seeds'. And these would likely end up going into more 'dangerous' or 'unstable' areas, since they've got so much more efficient resource management, and thus the cost/benefit ratios are different. Heck, there'll probably be a network of system updates as each new Warehouse Adam will work on different things, see different jumps. And those, likely would end up going after the Parasites. Which, in and of itself might end up getting neat/useful data.
Also makes me wonder if that 'other Warehouse' that Sarah saw was actually a fully working one, and not just a Parasite infected one. And if she even knew that at the time. Because saying that there's a parasite that specifically targets any Warehouse style soul setup would be rather alarming. And well, telling her past self might not even bee seen as that important since Adam himself would notice/get it handled in roughly 1-2 jumps anyways. And alerting him to it anyways would likely have ruined some of what already happened this jump. And well, it's something that Sarah would 100% tell Adam about ASAP and ignore the 'no spoilers' Adam insists on.
