Either way, what's the tally on enemy battleships so far? Sounds like a few have been sunk, but unknown if they're the 'important' ones.

One H-39 sunk on camera, one H-43 sunk on camera, and the other H-43 'mortally wounded' on camera. Plus at least four CAs destroyed. Abyssmark apparently survived, Tirpitz and the other two H-39s are a unknown. Mo acquired one hell of an escort to Valhalla in her last fight.

Slightly hard on the jaw. May also cause twitching. Please don't tell Kongou it's candy.

Or SECNAV forbid, Fubuki:

(Warning: coffee brittle eaten by shipgirls may induce uncontrollable beatboxing, gaining the ability to see through time, quantum duplication, religious experiences and other stuff even MSSB can't explain because it's too weird...)

Wait, what happened to Byysko's demonspawn? Did Mo annihilate them along with their mother or...?
They're still in Bisko's belly.
Coffee Fairy may be sad, but Coffee Fairy is NAVY and therefore an Unstoppable Juggernaut of Caffienated Might.

This
is what Navy Coffee does to that pansy mermaid outfit from Seattle that claims their overpriced sugar & cream concoctions are 'coffee' (Shipgirls drink it not because it's coffee, but because it's like drinking cake frosting) :
Minor problem, Coffee fairy does not consume the coffee herself, but instead carries around a carafe like a little hat.

He's probably cursing and punching that pipe organ he has. I mean, Missouri just sunk multiple Cruisers and Super Battleships. How many ships are going to leave his care, and how big will they be?
I think he's too busy having a pissed off Iowa play said organ with his face because he was stupid enough to get between her and the revolving door out of heaven.

Day one of actual build time

Kure Grey, Linoleum Deck Brown, and the older-style (dangit) wood deck. Heh, I actually had to leave the room for the super glue to set cuz the adhesive on the deck came off with the backing. :/ People say Nitrous Oxide burns when you smell it. I think I know what that means now...

I'd like to feel sorry for him but, I think i'll save my sympathies for the Dutchman. She's the one who has to haul Mo, Whisky and dead abyssals around on the same cruise!

I just realized, Victory hasn't made an appearance in a while. Jersey has gotten better but is she cured enough yet?
fuck no she aint. shes gonna start feeling sappy that her sisters are no longer around, and start wondering if they would not have made a better sailor to summon back. which is when Victory will return, and smack some sense into Jersey's ample ass.

So how long until Sabaton has a song about Mighty Mo's Final Ride. Also, when Jersey comes for the remaining abyssal, Ride of the Valkyries sounds appropriate, doesn't it?

Probably soon.

Though Ride of the Valkyries I don't think fits well enough. Doesn't really transmit that "Angry as Fuck Iowa-Class Battleship" Vibe you know. But I think I know a song that does.

Alas though, Rest for Now, Mighty Missouri. You and your crew have been witnessed by the world, your place in Valhalla rightfully taken. And the door for your sister to finish what you had started, opened.

Of course now, the question is, who's going to come back? Even at the cost of a Iowa-Class Battleship, the USN has earned enough worthiness to bring someone back I believe.

Alternately, this works pretty well, I think.

So Mo joins Wisky on the bottom. *Salutes* you fought excellent...I think even Snow Queen was - slightly - impressed. Now to see who gets summoned. And as to what the Abyssals have left. Yes, they still have Tosa, but she's somewhere on the other side of the Pacific. But I have a feeling she'll be dealt with soon.

On a side note, one of Jersey's last lines might be prophetic for a near-future update. "I'll see her again." Watch Mo be one of the battleships summoned. Her and Showboat.

Showboat: *hugs Wash* I'm so happy to see you! *pulls back and looks at her* Um, not to sound insulting, but I don't remember you having such a thick armor belt.
Wash: It's not an armor belt...*sounds of ship construction are heard from her stomach* Auntie.
Showboat: Huh?!
Wash: There's more. *Pulls a nervous Gale over* This is my girlfriend, CW2 Sarah Gale. Auntie times two. *grins*
Showboat: *emits squeal that shatters glass and hugs Wash and Gale* I'm so glad I came back! *Pulls back and looks at Gale* Are you sure you're pregnant? You're not showing at all.
Gale: *pouts as Wash giggles*

:D

THIS. Just...THIS. ^^

we should at least get Saratoga or Lexingtin in return for what we killed here. either the battlecruiser or aircraft carrier design, we will be happy with either one.

Considering the sensibilities and subtleties of Battleships, all this orchestral stuff is all fine and dandy.

But there's a time when you need to make a statement.

I'm pretty sure Mo is still afloat. Crippled, but still afloat.

She isn't. That last salvo she took tore her belly open completely, she's gone, but damn she didn't go gently. She made them bleed for their victory and left em well and wounded to get finished off by Jersey (and perhaps to a lesser extent because Radar Master Race. Musashi) when they show up.

Now one of the Questions I have is... will Arizona know those Abyssal SOB's are at Pearl, and i mean before the actual news gets to her, like she can sense the wrongness there and it makes her furious. Maybe enough so that Pennsylvania is scared of her little sister.

Actually since there's still other forces on Pearl. The question becomes, are they gonna be able to hold out long enough to get rescued by Jersey and Co? Even if they gotta flee into the Jungle to survive, will any of them survive long enough for the Big Damn Gunboat rescue?

Actually, when Pearl gets liberated, who'll watch over it now that Mo's gone?

chocolate battlewagon

"Um…" Naka's voice was very quiet. She held her phone tightly to her chest and couldn't quite meet Jersey's icy eyes.
So. Mo vs. Bismark and Tirpitz with some background dancers is ends up a strategic loss? Mo is, at least, mission-killed, anyone else can't really counter two battleships.
Even if nuke sub sunks the rest, it still leaves Hawaii open to invasion.
Loss of Mo fails S rank win condition to bring replacement forces to the table.

I'm not so sure, we're looking at at least 200,000 tonnes of Abyssal joining her at the bottom.
