Yes she was. Taffy 3 was one of the three units of Rear Admiral Thomas L. Sprague's Escort Carrier Task Group 77.4 known by their voice calls as "Taffy 1," "Taffy 2," and "Taffy 3."
Attached to "Taffy 3" (Escort Carrier Task Unit 77.4.3) were Rear Admiral Clifton A. F. Sprague's flagship Fanshaw Bay (CVE 70), five other escort carriers, three destroyers and four destroyer-escorts.

Gambier Bay dodging Kongo all over the base as Kongo only wishes to hug her and fill her with scones. GB runs across Yamato who cuddles her protectively and then DesDiv 6 reads that it was YAMATO and not Kongo which sank the Gambier Bay...
But after already being cuddled by Yamato, Gambier Bay doesn't give a fuck.

Because it is among the Kancolle fandom, which BelaBatt is a part of. My post was more about Yamaprise in general then in BelaBatt in particular.
That too. I'm sure we'll be seeing an American carrier, although probably not Enterprise, at some point. And Zuikaku, so she can make fun of Kaga (in that tsundere/rivalish sort of way she does) for having to stoop to take lessons from an American escort carrier only to get upstaged by Kaga saving her from an Abyssal submarine using what she has been taught.
