I'm not sure it's possible, something about it just kind of screams "cute" to me.
Then again I find canon zerglings to be cute, as well as spiders and various other animals not generally considered cute.
The difference is that it takes very little effort to make certain species of spiders look cute.
Zerglings and JMPer's Abyssals? Not so much.
