Journal Five: The Trees Wept // Day 3 Start

    • @Shadell has been "Struck Down by Cold Steel" they were an Elf. A Ferryman's Coin was found on their body.

    @OriginalName has been "Scattered Across the Room" they were an Elf. An Amulet of Command with Shard of Red Mirror was found on their body.

    @Cyricubed had their "Throat Ripped Out" they were a Human. Nothing was found on their body.


    Day 3 has begun, it will end

    • For anyone keeping track that's 3 dead humans, 1 dead fiendish orc, and 2 dead elves.

    Fiendish Orc forces us to be in B8, B10, B18, B22, B26, or B30.

    2 elves, however, forces there to be at least one elf in the B's.

    We are in world B10.
     
    As all A blocks have the same scum build, we know there are exactly 2 remaining Demons and 2 remaining Fiends. Both of the standard variety.

    3 dead humans, however, eliminates A6, A7, A8, and A9.
     
    I don't really feel like playing coy as this information is not harmful enough to any one faction to get them gunning for me. I am a survivor. I will not say which right now for obvious reasons.

    We are in world A2-A5, B10.

    This leaves 3 remaining humans, 2 humans knights, 2 demons, 2 fiends, and 1 survivor.

    1: These are the Arch-Demons games. I've been a Human Freedom Fighter, a Possessed Elf, a Possessed Dwarf, a Demon and a Demon in these games. If I was using Demon as shorthand for scum, trying to claim shortening it from Demon or Fiend to just Demon is a sign of me distancing from the idea of being a Demon is... A stretch. Fiends are also a relatively recent addition to these games, and some of my best remembered games are either where I was a demon or was dealing with Demons, to what is quite frankly a ridiculous degree.

I went back to try and see what you were referring to here and I could only find one point where I used Demon instead of Scum or saying both Demon and Fiend, and that was when I was responding to Yun's accusation that I was a fiendish/possessed instead of a normal scum for what was no reason, and then it was because I was explicitly talking about Eternal Game 3, where I was a Possessed Elf and had claimed to not be a Demon.

    At this point you're seeing things that aren't there Meso. So I'm gonna pretty heavily go with :Citation Needed: on this one.

    Alright. Our knights need to get into position, defending good and honest townfolk or these scum will overrun us!
    Two Coins are out of play now, but let's not forget Cyri had no item at the end there.
    Add to that Shalmoa's Orc-augmented Firestarter, Yun's Ancient Mirror, and Original's Amulet of Command...
    we need claims.
    I don't know how much I can help, but I DO think I have an idea of what happened to make Yun so erratic.
    He held the Ancient Mirror, an item that lets him see ALL the shard conversations right?
    And I know that I'm suspected for, as I understand it, a combination of carelessness in terms of sorting my accusations from my vote swaps, and potentially the angle I've taken in some of these arguements.

    I'm going to say this: If Shalmoa was new, I think he got some good coaching. Because I hold the other Blue Talisman of Defense. And he spoke to me plenty about Yun.
    But I mentioned Nictis. And not long after I did...Yun turned his eye to Nictis as well.
    If I realized what was happening, I could have cottoned on to that and what it meant. That it didn't, I think, speaks to my inexperience, and for that I am sorry.
     
    Personally I'm really curious about who Shadell had attempted to kill.

    Hopefully she didn't self target and switch. That would have been... Ironic.
     
    Okay- I've got something I was writing on what I think of the fallout of the @Shalmoa reveal, but first off- @Nictis, you were hinting a being human freedom fighter since day one. That's just been mathematically ruled out. What are we supposed to think here?

    Which, y'know, isn't proof of me not being scum. But hey, I did it.

    *frowns* I can, though my thinking on the matter is unfortunately compromised by a mistake in how the Ancient mirror worked.
    Simply put, not long after I mentioned to who I know now to be Shalmoa about my suspicions on Nictis NOT doing his typical high-pressure interrogations in thread in the mirror shard quick-chat, Yun swung around to pointing at Nictis. Amusingly enough, this lead to both of us asking the other 'are you Yun?' as a result...Alas.
     
    Ah, nevermind. I don't need to bother with beating around the bush on that.

    If things are as Byzantine suggests, then I was the final pick. Meaning that the Voodoo Doll is Not A Concern.

    I'm a variant of Human. :p
     
    Yesterday's vote pattern will not be helpful - everyone online at day end would have voted for Shalmoa as there's no saving someone outed like that. Particularly given Fiendish Orcs are dangerous.

    So is there anything interesting now about the D1 vote tally?
