Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

I think we need a plan that starts with Anderson drawing aggro, so that Djura can pop a blood vial and heal.

And if we can somehow manage to keep the orphan stay still, I think we could use our laser to clip off its wings... Wait a sec.

@Tricia mind if I ask if is the Club of righteousness' laser mode is easy to use? Like we can toss it at Simon, shout the instructions to him, so he can shoot the orphan for us?
(Possible caveat: Orphan might intercept the pass  )

It's basically point (away from face) and click. Simon's seen Anderson use it enough.

Although shouting may not be terribly effective at the moment.

Strained, powerful breaths draw your attention towards the shoreline, where the Orphan is struggling with its warded placenta. You can see the flesh of its remaining hand bubble and blister as it tries to force its way through, ultimately abandoning it and instead returning to its fallen arm. It picks it up and bites down on the shoulder. The sunlight writhes through its wings and it slams the arm down hard enough to shatter the nearest outcropping of glass.

You have a newfound respect for Mama Anderson putting up with your tantrums.

[NotAVote]

Anderson (talking through his broken teeth somehow): "Yer bruised and bleeding. Your arm and your placenta-thing 'ave been cut clean off. What are ye going to do? Will ye die like a dog, or on yer feet like an...eldritch god baby-thing?"

Orphan: "What does it matter, Paladin? [The Orphan picks up his arm and grabs it with its teeth like a BOSS] You think a cut on my arm will stop me? Now shut up, and come at me! C'mon and fight me! Hurry! HUR-RY!"

[Anderson freezes in shock, then lets loose a grin the size of the Great Wall of China.]

Anderson: "Now yer f----kin' talking!"

A'ight.

[X] Djura's gonna need some room to pop a blood vial, so we'll need to draw aggro again. Fill your hands with bayonets and make it rain.
[X] Keep playing Keep Away with your oversized lawn darts until Djura and Simon's back on their feet.
-[X] Take five behind the barrier with the placenta thing if you need it.
[X] Toss the the Club of Irony while its in laser mode to Simon. He's got the better aim, and he'll need it to clip off the beastie's wings.
[X] If the overgrown manchild is really forcing the issue at melee point, whip out the Amygdala arm. If you're gonna get into a proper slap fight with dismembered limbs, might as well as be equipped for it.

You really think he'll be able to use something totally and completely different from a bow better than us to the point he should be using that at range?

If you meant "Bow" and was referring to Simon, then yeah I think he can use it better than Anderson when it comes to hitting a target's wings moving at high speeds. Might need a couple of practice shots, but I think it's a better plan than needing to immobilize the orphan so Anderson can shoot it by himself.

My plan isn't relying on immobilizing the Orphan?

I was referring to my other plan:

But enough of that. D'you really think Simon would fumble the shot? Anything else that might be bad with my plan?
Mmm, with the lightning and the semi-working wings, we can no longer rely on distance as a working factor in keeping ourselves safe. We need a certain bit of simple creativity, I feel.

What about tossing the laser club to him (or Djura, whoever is better with it/needs it more) and using mine as a basis but whipping about the Amygdalan Arm from the sleeves as our surprise?

[] Toss the Club o' Righteousness to Simon, he's better with shootin' and it'll avail him well if the thing gets too close. Plus it hasn't fought the laser yet, surprise is always nice when it's on your side and fuckin' the other guy up.
[] This thing fights on wild instinct, a crazed dance that best utilizes its insane strength. You can't read his movements, but you know instincts. You'll try and use the barrier to intercept attacks and interrupt its momentum, while you lure it into reacting to feints against its two new weak spots only to instead aim for something else.
-[] You have one more surprise: now you see me, now you see a big old alien abomination appendage swinging at you.

Thoughts?

Admittedly with the speeds we're fighting at, that could be a very long time indeed.

Then throw up a quick barrier around Djura, to keep him somewhat safe while he recovers.

Like you said, this thing's fighting on F-15 speeds now. A 'quick' barrier might still take a while to set-up, and there's already one up that's containing the placenta bludgeon.

On the otherhand (heh), it's gonna be very wary of Anderson's bayonets, since, y'know, we kinda used it to carve its arm off.

True. I'll stick with us being what keeps him away.

@Tricia

You know, considering how some bosses were quite different from their fights in Bloodborne and how Orphan of Kos is based off the idea grotesque nightmarish hunter, due to how hunters were technically Kos's and orphan's greatest fears... I wonder if we will see more stuff as FIGHT progresses and the Orphan learns its body. Especially taking into consideration the connection it technically has with Gehrman due to the dialogue after beating it.

Will it somehow use a blood vial equivalent? Placenta or flesh versions of old hunter garb? Firearms? Actual trick weapon thing? Perhaps made from praying sneeple literally being drawn in by it?

I want it to go even further beyond due to its significance, because it, in its meaning, has greater importance than Moon Presence. True, MP can also have that but it would fit Orphan. Better due to symbolism

I am so fucking there.

Where did people get the idea that Kos is the source of the lightning? She's pretty definitively deaded.
