Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

@Tricia, I had a couple more questions.
[] Deal with Lumnia
-[] Kill her
-[] Leave her alive
How would things have been different if we had kept Lumnia alive as a prisoner in the Chapel? How would she have reacted to the death of the Bloody Crow or Anderson befriending Ebrietas?
"The peace of death that was stolen from you."

[] Submit your life

[] Refuse
What kind of ending would accepting death at Gherman's hand have lead to?

What was the plan if any of the boss battles had gone poorly and ended with Anderson dead?

Also, is there anything we missed out on that you had plans for or would have liked to write about? Like the Laurence boss battle in the Nightmare or meeting Valtr in the Forbidden Woods?

Just had a thought: someone should continue that Red Soul crossover Omake! Well, maybe. Depends on if anyone has the time and/or wants to.

EDIT, years later: Is it weird that I actually kinda feel like a tool having said this?

Hellsing Abridged Episode 8 has just been released, the swan song for our beloved Paladin.

I can think of no better capstone for this great Quest than the actual swan song included in the episode credits:

Farewell good hunter: may you find your worth in the NG+ world...

Heh. It'd be pretty funny if the next time this thread pops up was because of the final episode and someone did a 'Alucard delivers Anderson's message' omake. Just for the all around closing.

Although it was a good episode, with many great lines (it started off strong with the "Hooray it's the Catholic Church! Oh no, it's the Catholic Church!" thing) and Integra's burn and Alucard's return with that music was on point... so many things were on point.

And yet. And yet, I still weep that the episode couldn't have what this Quest was able to give to us. Something I've always wanted to see from Abridged Anderson for the entire series. A wonderful addition to his love of Boondock Saints.
You put the bident back in your sleeves and pull out the Boom Flail, gritting through the weight as you march forward. A certain monologue comes to mind, not exactly biblically accurate but too appropriate not to use.

"The path o' the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name o' charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children."

Moonfucker still can't recover from its last shot, writhing angrily but going nowhere as you close the distance.

"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the LORD when I lay my vengeance upon you."
Pulp Fiction. I can but hope that a future episode will contain a flashback with Anderson, where he'll get to use Ezekiel 25:17...

The course of action's clear, but just want to confirm: you guys want Bane or Boondock Saints? Or Banedock Saints?
[x] "Yer pretty good"

Honorable Mentions go to Banedock Saints and Yer Pretty Good, for being the right quips at the right time. For feeling like they just fit so well in the flow of things.

Well done to you posters for finding that one remark that just feels so right (and doing so multiple times even!), and thank you to Tricia for catching the mood and going 'Hey only one or two people have mentioned the Banepost... but I should ask them about it anyway rather than just letting it pass by and missing out on it.' When both the GM and the players read the rhythm, the tempo, the flow, of a quest it is just beautiful.

And an Honorable Mention to B.S. Johnson as the architect of Yharnam. So fitting. Just... no words for this. Should have sent a poet.
Honorable mentions go to Banedock Saints, Yer Pretty Good, and B.S. Johnson. And so many more.

I was late to this quest, but it is satisfying to see such a quest end like this.

A high note, one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Well done, and may your path bring you to beautiful lands.

I think we've got our idea for the next Hellsing/Bloodborne themed adventure:

HENRYK QUEST.

Caption: "This City's On Fire. You're fighting an Army of Nazi Vampires. And You Look Like a Banana. None of this makes sense."

Also, this needs to happen. Now.

Yes.

There's references, sure. But by that logic Yharnam's somewhere in Lordran.

Or vice versa.

...I will admit Artorias in Yharnam'd be neat. And Gough plucking the Amygdala off towers with bowshots would be cool too...

Damnit muse.

DO EEEET!
