Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

Well, he hasn't used a sword in god knows how long, so it will probably take a few minutes for him to shake off the rust and really get going.

But will there be a Messenger Orchestra playing the music for this battle? It's not nearly as epic without it, just hella frustrating.

Well. Here comes the rapehorse. My suggestion? Throw as many explosive Bayonets into its arms as possible. See how well he can use that damn sword with his arms reduced to nothing but nubs.

[X] "Stand Down Ludwig! None of us want to hurt you, but if you continue to impede us we will have to. If you stop fighting us, we might be able to heal, and free you. We know of a Great One who is sympathetic!"

-[X] If he stands down, continue negotiation, if not, continue with combat plans, adjusting for any changes in tactics.

[X] ALL THE BAYONETS!
-[X] focus on removing his mobility
-[X] tell the others to take out his arms.

Right that should do it.

I don't think Ludwig's going to be convinced to stand down.

Mostly because I think the reason why Ludwig even stayed in the Nightmare, besides him becoming a beast, was the same reason as why Maria and Brador are here: To keep anyone from getting to the Fishing Hamlet and messing with what's there.

Eh. If talking him down doesn't work then that just means we are in same situation as before, if we succeed.....well it would be interesting that's for sure, but I don't see any harm in trying.

Er, what? Ludwig is trapped in the Nightmare because he "went drunk with blood", like nearly all the other Hunters in there. That's how you end up in the Nightmare in the first place, unless an Amygdala grabs you.

Ludwig is already too far gone for higher goals. The best he can get is retaining what remains of his sanity as he dies--which only happens if you flat-out lie to him and say that his efforts in life weren't in vain.

Might as well try and talk him down.... I am not confident, but Ludwig is not a normal beast/person/thingy so who knows.
