An Unusual Abnormality - Redux (A Lobotomy Corporation x ??? Interactive Quest)

Day 1.8
> Go take a nap, there isn't much to do around here.
>She leaves the room, leaving you alone again as the door closes behind her.
>Figuring you have nothing better to do, you lie down to take a nap.

>...

>You find it incredibly hard to nap on a hard metal floor like this. Try as you might, you can never seem to find a comfortable position. Hopefully that furniture you asked for will come soon..

>Your tossing and turning is eventually halted when you hear a loud banging on the door, along with muffled incoherent muttering.
>_

Day 1.9
>Nothing else to do, may as well try to hear the muttering better.
>You get closer, putting your ear against the door to try and make out the muttering...
>"...w-was going to get out eventually... j-just speeding things along... y-yeah, that's right ...aha... ...ahahaha..." you hear the quiet voice of a man mumbling.

>"Can you stop that?"
>He doesn't seem to hear you.

Red dawn or someone with high justice went insane.

>Wonder if spell-card duels are held here.
>You wonder if the spellcard laws apply here... would they...?
>Leading on from this you check to see if your spellcards are still on you, and find to your relief that they are.

>Atomic Fire - "Nuclear Fusion"
>>A pulse of nuclear reaction that fires mini-suns in all directions around you, followed by a spiral pattern of energy.

>Explosion Sign - "Giga Flare"
>>Fires a torrent of radioactive explosions in the direction you're facing that shrink as they get farther away from you.

>Blazing Star - "Ten Evil Stars"
>>Causes two opposing circles of five miniature suns to orbit you as you unleash a torrent of radial bursts that spiral outwards. Forces you to remain stationary.

>"Hell's Tokamak"
>>Create a pair of miniature stars on opposite ends of an area that release pulses of energy towards each other while you hide within one of them.

>"Subterranean Sun"
>>Your strongest attack. Envelops you in a miniature star with a powerful gravitational field that attempts to pull in everything around it. Forces you to remain stationary.
>>This will leave you exhausted if you use it.

>Like your nonspells, you are capable of potentially lethal versions of these attacks as well, but they will expend a lot of energy compared to the nonlethal versions.

>[Spellcards added to Character Sheet under Skills.]

>There is a sound of electrical damage before the door suddenly opens with a loud creak, revealing a man with a deranged expression and disheveled, brown hair standing in the hallway beyond it. He is garbed in some kind of red body armor over a white suit, and in his hand is a club wrapped in a patchwork of festive-looking red, green, and white leather, along with some inactive strings of lights of some kind.
>"T-There, you're free now! Ahaha..." he exclaims as an alarm begins to blare, "Go nuts. I-I'll go free the others!"

>He starts to run off down the hallway, cackling like a madman.

>"He opened the ALEPH's containment!" Someone in the hallway screams.
>"OH GOD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Another voice shouts.

Day 1.10
>Inspect the hallway to see who is screaming.
> Slowly walk out the door, inspect the hallway and try to calm whoever is panicking.
> Ask what is wrong to the first person or thing you see.
>You slowly step out of the door, catching sight of a few people in orange suits. The sight of you only seems to make them panic even more as they begin to run out of the hallway screaming before you can get a chance to speak with them, a few of them shakily dropping a few handheld black devices as they do so.

> Shout out to get an employee's attention.
>You shout at them, which does nothing to calm them down.

> Think about turning into a bird to explore around, but then realize you have no idea where to go.
>You consider turning into a bird to get around easier, but then you realize that you have no idea where you are...
>Besides, you can't really defend yourself in bird form if it came to it. Orin was always better at fighting in her animal form than you...

>A pair of young women in some kind of body armor emerge from a door at the far end of the hall as the orange suit people run past them.
>Each of them is carrying a strange stick with a skull-embedded cross at one end, and they immediately freeze up upon noticing you.
>_

Day 1.11
> "Hi, why is everyone panicking? Is time fo me to go home yet?"
>"...J-Joy, it's talking to us..." one woman, a girl with long, dark blue hair speaks.
>"I-I know that Miho..." the other woman, who has brown hair with long bangs on the left side of her head done in a wavy style, "l-let's just stay calm and back away slowly..."
>They begin slowly backing out of the hallway.

>"One of your friends opened the door to my room."
>"He said something about freeing some stuff."
>"J-Joy it's still talking to ussssss!"
>"J-Just keep moving.... F-Frank is our objective here, let the higher level agents deal with it..."

>You hear another door open somewhere behind you.
>_

Day 1.12
> "Oh well, this is boring. I was only out because one of you guys said it's time for me to leave. Then again he is sort of loopy, waste of my time. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my room."
> Point at one of the first group " You guys there, yes you. Give me you guys' clothes so I can use as some sort of pillows and blankets. Don't you guys know how hard to sleep on the bare floor?"
>"N-Now it wants our clothes!?!" the blue haired one squeaks.
>"J-Just ignore it and keep walking, Miho!"

>The two of them continue to walk backwards until a door closes in front of them, obscuring them from sight.

>Take a look at the door that opened behind you.
>You turn to see Alyssa cautiously approaching you from the other end of the hall, her sword raised as if ready to fight.
>_

Day 1.13
> "Is possible for we deal with this peacefully?"
> Be on guard if she attacks you.
>You ready yourself.
>"That honestly depends... Do you intend to return to your containment peacefully?"

>Tilt head sideways and look closely at Alyssa.
>"Are you thinking of starting a spell-card duel here?"
>Look around the hallway.
>"We'll probably need a bigger area if you want to hold a duel."
>Afterall it could be unfair to Alyssa if she doesn't have space to maneuver around.
>You look around.
>The hallway has predominantly orange walls with the occasional pipe and screen with some unknown purpose occurring along the corridor. There are notably four doors, the one leading to the room you came out of, two on either end of the hallway, and one off to the side on the same wall as the door to "your room".
>You also note that there definitely isn't enough space for a proper spellcard duel here... Your Giga Flare would probably fill the entire hallway in the direction you shoot it.
>If you absolutely had to you could probably stick to nonspells only. Since they technically don't need any pattern at all to them, and, if you must use a pattern, their patterns tend to be sparser than a full-on spellcard.

>"I suppose that's good to know..." Alyssa notes out loud.
>You notice that she's not backing down, but not getting any closer either.
>_

Day 1.14
>"Did the alarm sound because that Frank guy messed with the door to my room?"
>"Actually, why did an alarm trigger when my door opened?"
>"And why did the people before call me Aleph? My name is Utsuho."
> "What is with the violent response anyway?"
>"It's standard procedure for a containment breach, and ALEPH isn't a name. It's a classification... I'd tell you more, but now really isn't the time to explain all of this..."

> Request some pillows and blankets before going back.
>You request some pillows and blankets before making your way back into the room. Alyssa stares at you as you do so.
>Or at least you think she is? It's kinda hard to tell with the whole blindfold thing she has going on and all...

>Turning around, you watch as Alyssa walks over to the door and fiddles with something next to it that you can't see from in here.
>As soon as she finishes, the alarm immediately deactivates and the door slams shut.

>It seems you're by yourself in this room once again.
>_

Day 1.15
//Last parse until morning.
> Take a look around the room. Maybe something changed?
>You look around.
>Disappointingly, nothing has changed.

>Spread out your wings and perform light exercises.
>Check your legs for signs of damage that you might have not felt.
> After that see if the pillows and the blankets are delivered. If so take a nap to pass the time and process what you learned from this place as it's been a weird day even for you a resident of Gensokyo.
>You check all three of your legs for signs of damage. Your normal legs are perfectly fine, and your third leg shows no damage to its structural integrity.
>Satisfied with this, you stretch your wings and start exercising for a bit. You don't do anything too intense, but nonetheless it ends up being a nice way to pass the time.

>Eventually, though, you need to stop. When you so, you look around for the pillows and blankets your requested. Unfortunately it doesn't seem they magically appeared in the room during your exercise routine...
>However, before you can do anything else you hear the same buzzer from earlier, and the door opens to reveal Alyssa, now holding a clipboard and pencil.
>_

Day 1.16
//Of course I end up sleeping into the afternoon anyway.
>Sit up/Stand up as is proper when meeting someone.
>"Hi, Alyssa. Did you stop what was going on?"
>"Hi again! Did you manage to catch the guy who messed with the door?"
>"Did you manage to get any of the stuff I asked for?"
>You stand up straight.
>"We managed to contain the situation, yes. The agent who released you is currently recovering."

> "What's with the pencil and clipboard?"
>Notice the clipboard
>"Oh, very astute. Research requires methodology and diligence. Especially with nuclear materials. So what's your's for?"
>"I am here to perform Attachment work this time. Though since this is our first attachment session I'm supposed to conduct an interview so that we can learn more about you. Hopefully it'll be readable..." she mumbles something to herself at the end.

>"Are you gonna explain the stuff you said like containment breach and that Aleph thing?"
>"I'm allowed to speak to you more freely for this type of work, so I could give you an explanation. Though I will be asking you some questions of my own as well."
