So been thinking about something we could build to help out our brothers, We could develop Care Packages loaded with things the boys might need along with lessons on how to protect themselves and get in touch with her an each other. Might be nice that by the time the Emp starts to look for the kids they have been in touch an working together to bring the galaxy to order.

A [Heart] crystal would be helpful there, as that would help them regain their individual personalities.

Yea, hearts be cray cray. The truly weird part would be if machine spirits start developing hearts. Which would either cause the Mechanicus to outright deify us or call us the machine anti-christ.

Khaine's going to pass a message during the SL.
Dear Serra: Thanks kid, but needs more keikaku

Serras:???

Khaine: No, I dont get it either.

Speaking of Cegorach, is there any way for us to contact him?

Depending on how things go and the decisions we make very soon, we might have some important matters to discuss.

I think it is a little too early to directly talk with Cegorach.

His priesthood? Yes

But with the Clown himself? Even with us being a bullshit Primarch we are probably going to be too terrified to tell him that his jokes actually suck, or steer the conversation in any useful direction.

[X] Upgraded Malice. While Malice grows stronger, he is merely a peer to the Four, as he has concern over having his existence overtaken by the Darkness he's calling upon. Chaos Four become Chaos Five, with all that implies.

Edit: Vote changed.

Alright, so, I popped the GM a question over a PM a moment ago and he said I could post it and the answer here, so I am doing so.

So, I asked a question awhile back in the thread and I never got an answer to it. I feel like it's sort of important as it involves a pretty central reason to why a lot of people are voting the way they are, but with pissy so many people in the thread are acting I understand if you might not want to address in this the thread itself.

So, I figured I'd ask you again here, and if you want to answer you can, and if you want to post the answer in the thread you can, and if you choose to do neither then because sometimes answering questions get's tricky then I completely understand and I won't bring it up again.

Basically, I noted that a lot of people are voting for Sealed Away over Upgraded Malice because they want more short and long term threats and they don't see that happening with Malice. So, have to ask, is that something people should worry about, or will there be a similar amount of threats and enemies and things to do if we choose Upgraded Malice?

A lot of people are voting for Sealed Away over Upgraded solely because they want some level of conflict and threat in the quest and if they can expect something similar in Upgraded they might take the loss of Sealed with a little more grace. On the other hand, the Upgraded voters might get pissy if you reveal that, so whether it's true or not I have no idea if it's a good idea to admit.

Thank you for your time.

There's going to be some level of conflict no matter what you choose. With Sealed, it's going to be like canon Warhammer, Chaos always lurking in the background, causing problems. Upgraded is going to be a lot more in-your-face about it, with Malice DaemonWorlds, with Daemon-Heartless that sort of look like Purebloods (the kind that look like regular shadows) but drip black ooze, which are usually okay as long as you stay out of the system, but go from zero to 'Oh god everyone's dead!' really fast if you get close to the planet. Of course, the Four keep poking his planets, and he does the same, but they can afford to focus on you to some degree. Directing the Orks in nearby sectors to do much the same thing as the ones in your home sector did, all at once. Mostly by helping the rumors of how good a fight you gave them spread.

You can post the question and reply if you like.

I don't know if that is going to help or hurt the people in this thread in regards to being satisfied with where this quest is headed, but I hope it helps. I, at the very least, am much more satisfied now as I have to admit I was leaning towards Sealed Away because I was worried about a lack of conflict, so hearing some confirmation that it will be there in Upgraded is a relief to me.

[X] Sealed Away. The Four cooperate long enough to seal Malice away. Chaos Gods start nudging large quantities of Orks and similar threats towards you in 5 Turns. Xenos polities have a far higher chance of becoming hostile and/or Chaos corrupted.

Reward: Self Runes can now be combined with other Runes, currently 4 X 50 X 32=6400 (due to Self Rune and Blance Rune taking 2/6 slots), which increases the bonus for your Wargear to 22400.

Yay! :D

Also,

Rune Arrangement (6). Runes may be combined in arrangements of up to 5. Only Self Runes require Balance Runes, provided the arrangement isn't horribly unbalanced. +150 to PDF rolls. +150% to industry. +150 to morale rolls.

Shouldn't that 5 be a 6?

Uh, no... bringing Evangelion elements into play is a BAD IDEA. The whole idea behind the show is pretty nihilistic (it culminates in essentially destroying the personhood of every human on Earth), thus would likely boost Malal. Even if it didn't, "Absolute Terror" is not something we want to conceptualize and use, especially because (a) we're living in a universe where concepts/emotions can result in a warp-god and (b) the AT field explicitly links to souls which, surprise, are connected to the Sea of Souls [i.e. the warp].

See this:

So, yeah, I don't want to put the creation of a warp-god of Terror onto the fast track.
I don't want it in this quest. I just have the idea in my head

This going to bug me unless I ask: What do the various people who think Serras is a GOD think of her, and what do they each thing that her domains are?

I mean in general, this has been bugging me for awhile, so could I please have an answer @ilbgar123.

If you have the time or if you thing it won't be spoilery.

Thank you

Psychic engineering, like the Old Ones, but you're more 'gadget' focused than species-creator. Seeing as you have hidden modifiers which improve your psychic engineering, they aren't entirely wrong.

Art
mind collecting all the Serras pics and drawings into a single pic post? Cause all of them are too awesome and adorable for people to miss.

Of course!

The original from the character page. Didn't draw this one.

@ilbgar123 Sorry to do this again but;
-[X] Continue Medigel. While Medi-gel is useful, it's really only useful for patch jobs, and that only helps so much when, say, your arm is missing. It's meant for smaller wounds than that, though it can still help. In addition, it's only available in limited quantities for those who lack the skill level of a Champion. You work to change this.

Learning Check: 3 Checks passed. -325 to Check difficulty.

Combined Score Check: Invention: Practical+Military: 210+ Medicine: Narcotics: 60+ Education: General+Advanced: 255+ 7375(Invention bonuses)+ 7500(Medicine bonuses)+ 2235(Education bonuses)+3500(Eldar SL)=21135 +20460=41595. 24675 for Much Improved Medi-gel. Passed. 41595/49675 for Further Improved Medi-gel.

940/6300 to Level 54.

You work to improve the functionality of the gel first, so that your soldiers get more out of the same amount, and so larger wounds can be fully patched than finger-sized. Several advances in the understanding of cells and self-healing are used to do this. The new paste heals a significantly larger area (roughly twice as much as before) and does so more thoroughly.

-[X] Continue Rune development x2. You couldn't use other Runes alongside your Self Rune currently, and your limit otherwise was still effectively 4. That should be remedied.
Missing Much Improved Medi-gel.

E: Also, noticed that we seemed to have gained a +5 to Combat: Ranged and all 3 Tactics somehow between Turns 11 & 12. Unless I'm missing something. Again.
