Well no that was for the primacy organs. We still have our normal gene therapy stuff to do research on. We just haven't gotten around to them because they didn't offer enough of a bonus in areas we need. They are instead a more general bonus to everything which isn't that useful for us right now.

Thank you, that was basically what I was asking about. When @Wind-Up Citrus responded to me, I was confused how making our citizens better could be a contentious issue. But if that was about the Primacy organs specifically, the black-boxed stuff, that makes more sense.
 
Right then, with the figures posted by the GM, a 10 km BB has a mass of 20125000000kg, or 20 million metric tones, and a deltav of 630 kps^2, or about .2 percent light speed, which means that in a pinch it can serve as a
0.954543499 Teraton R-bomb. If the K-ork situation gets out of hand, we might want to keep this in mind, considering how quickly we can make battleships and how long it takes to make Exterminatus weapons, although actual Exterminatus weapons are significantly more powerful.

Edit2: assuming a similar percentage of mass devoted to fuel as an Iowa class Battleship (17.78%), a battleship sized R-KKV would have a yield 5 times higher and a final velocity of 1% light speed. In conclusion, with the technology we currently possess, planet killing R-KKVs are impractical, however, badly damaged battleships can be used as impromptu bombardment weapons.

Maybe instead of going for the moon and fleet we should smash the supporting planets, without support they'll never be able to finish the moon. It also might distract them and cause them to separate their fleet to guard their planets properly which will mean we can perform an easier strike at the moon later.

We got the resources. We can easily afford it.

Consumption will be a really good option...after the Orks are gone. Your planets are currently higher tech than the Sol system, excepting POSSIBLY Mars.
 
So, here's a thought. With Mithral being the human equivalent to Wraithbone, while being an actual metal... what if instead of making Dreadnaughts, Bastion researched how to incorporate Mithral into Transformer protoforms to create Buman/Transformer hybrids? Since a "blank" protoform is a construct without a soul/Spark in it... it'd make for a hell of a continuation for any astartes that fall at least. Not sure if it'd be feasible for most normal humans though.

Huh, now I'm imagining Chaos Undivided Serras crafting Warp Stone for the Orks (both hammer-tier blunt, and a reference to the Waagh! Field) to screw the Imperium over. She doesn't care that Chaos gets screwed over too.

Well, that, or Darkness-aligned Serras crafting a Lockshield from Darkness Materials and making knock-offs the former human Heartless can use.
 
You've improved them to their 500K Check. Advanced Skills are required for Checks higher than that, unless you gain something that can knock down the difficulty like Materials Science does for most projects.
Which means we should focus our minor actions on training for skills after the K_ork Waaagh is killed off.

I wonder, will we eventually be able to create a new Geneseed implant that creates a Human Waaagh field? It seems like it would be a worthy goal, but require massive Ork knowledge, Psyker ability, Medicine, Invention, and other checks. Maybe push some of it off to Father?
 
what is the plan to use are space marines as they are rare elite troops
I don't think we have any Space Marines ready yet. They take like seven to nine years to go through the implantation, and we started them last year, or maybe the year before. The partials we have are in training.

When we have a proper and full Legion, they would be best for what they are designed for: Planetary Pacification. They are too large for ship-to-ship combat on the average vessel, though K_ork vessels may be large enough. While they have a very well designed training program, such that they can serve in most situations, it is better to have dedicated boarders/anti-boarders, and dedicated naval enlisted, and such.

Though, each chapter within the legion (there should be 10, I think) could have a different specialization. First Chapter is usually the veterans and leaders, the best of the best of the best. Tenth Chapter is usually scouting, and is for the rookies just out of implantation. We could have one chapter dedicated to boarding and anti-boarding actions (they are very similar), while another is dedicated to Psyker training, another uses heavy vehicles and artillery, and another pretends to be Imperial Fists with their fortifications.
