We probably should try and get the boss to recruit some Grandmasters/Egg Bosses in order to make it easier to control territories that we have.
[X] The energy produced by the Chaos emeralds is one of Chaos' main means of attack... while it would never work on the lines of Sonic the nature of Chaos itself might render it vulrnable to a machine designed to drain Chaos Energy.

Just a heads up a combination of writers block and the need to fix my sleeping scedual means I probably won't be able to fiish the update this weekend... sorry guys.
Their were at least 2 levels that involved cyberspace actually... ironically someone else physically going into cyberspace is the only way I intend to let the PC be a powerful physical combatant.
Shadow and Rogue aren't happening, Infinite had a bomb in his head and the Deadly Six.... are annoying to deal with to say the least.

I'mnow kinda wondering what it would look like, the heroes fighting us in Cyberspace? Both the level and the character's avatar. Thinking about it, someone could possibly do a list of suggestions/ideals. Just so we actually remember them.

Facing down a being such as Chaos with conventional force would be extremely difficult even with the minimal projections of his theoretical strength should he manage to acquire all 7 Chaos Emeralds. The vast majority of beings are unable to grow in power with even a single Chaos Emerald beyond being able to manipulate the Emerald proper for certain techniques, but Chaos himself has shown darastic improvements in his combat capabilities with each additional Chaos Emerald added to his form.
It would be hard to be conventionally.... but if you were to focus on draining the Chaos Energy instead of actually fighting Chaos himself you might have a greater chance. Chaos's very nature means that that the Chaos energy will be much more diffuse both within himself and in the general area as opposed to say the transformation Sonic undergoes when he gains all 7 Chaos Emeralds.
So you design you machine with the capabilities to aboard Chaos Energy for it's own use, taking some notes from Mecha Sonics demonstrated ability to utilize the power of the Master Emerald to attain a super form. With it the 'Egg Muscle' a name you designated your newest machine with due to it's distinctly clam like appearance can absorb Chaos Energy from liquids or even from the air if enough of it is saturating the area, giving it a semi-super mode all of it's own. Due to it's unusual shape you've given an internal over capacity as bivalves are not typically known for being able to move on land with ease... or moving with ease in general.
Additionally you arm the Egg Muscle with several self defense measures, including machine-guns, rocket launchers, and finally a miniaturized version of the Egg Carriers main cannon.
In other news your master has located a final Chaos Emerald in the lost ruins and is now in competition with Sonic to aquire it.
The end of this campaign is near.
What do you do?
[] Send and Egg Flapper to watch a notable presence. (Choose from Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Gamma, Chaos... or Big?)
[] Deploy you task force. (Choose either the Ancient Ruins or Station Squat general area and give them your orders on what you actually want to do... you can divide up your task force if you do not want them to do the entire thing.)
[] Examine the egg you've found.
[] Look over Tail's blueprints.
[] Wait and watch... no need to be impatient.
