Aiding the E.G.G.M.A.N. (Sonic)

Just did a little more sorting in my document. Also came up with a new Pawn boss, as odd as that may sound. Was having a bit of trouble with the name, but I remembered that @MrWealthman had, in a bout of misunderstanding, suggested some names the first time I mentioned the Egg Goliath, and looked that up to grab one of those for it.

Egg Baron: Another giant-sized Pawn-series, roughly three times as tall as a Hammer. One arm has been replaced with a drill from the elbow down (like the Egg Dragoon), the other has a missile rack (preferably homing) mounted to it. Also give it twin (or even quadruple!) cannons on its shoulders (maybe fold back out of the way when not in use?).

I considered giving it a sword and attaching missile launchers to the hips, but the sword felt redundant and I wanted both arms to have weapons mounted so I replaced the sword with the launchers. Could still do the hip missiles, though; nothing wrong with more weapons.

edit: Just realized how much this thing sounds like a prototype for the Egg Emperor and/or Egg Dragoon. Don't really see anything wrong with that, though.

Well if there's a prototype version of the Tornado in his lab than I'm fine with that, could help us include an air force into our army.
 
...Random badnik idea: Knife-throwing koalas. I have no idea where that came from, but it's an idea, and I might as well mention it and add it to my document.

    You deploy Alpha as well as the Second and Third Divisions to attack the front…. They do an admirable job of it considering the heavy turrets GUN seems to have installed…. And that said turrets have been upgraded by the Fox at that.

    Still they do so valiantly and Alpha manages to open a hole into the facility which the second division uses to enter before getting into combat with a force of GUN Hunter robots, a battle which should have been easy but it seems the fox has been tinkering with these machines as well.

    … The Second Divison advances as the Third dedicates itself to destroying the rest of the turret but were it not for Alpha progress would be painfully slow.

    But this is enough to give the Fourth Division the time needed to break in with Siver Sonic… who proclaims that he 'knows the way' before leading them into the interior of the Fox's workshop.

    …. You feel both concern and anticipation.

    However a much bigger issue is soon brought up to your attention.

    It seems GUN sent a much stronger force than anticipated in response to your latest raid.

    Including among other things tanks and trained mobians.

    The first and fith dimensions have been badly mauled and are holding on almost entirely due to the efforts of the Lumber Ho, and even than it may not be able to hold out for much longer.

    Hmm you may need to make some changes.
    What do you do?
    [ ] Stay the course.
    [ ] Redeploy. (Write in were you want to move what… retreat of course is also an option.)

    • I say retreat. We are only a distraction and I think we did enough damage for today. Also it would seem to send a message that gun is strong. We just don't want them even stronger.

    -[x] Have Second focus on looking more like they're attempting to make progress than actually doing anything, preserve themselves while distracting for the infiltrators.

    This gives fourth and Silver time for their infiltration more without pulling the distraction for them entirely. We'll see if it pans out or not. Retreat immediately if someone important shows up instead of fodder.

    -[X] Divisions 2, 3, and Alpha to intercept incoming forces. Destroy turrets beforehand. Divisions 1, 5, and Hey Ho to make a fighting retreat to join up. Be ready to split as soon as Division 4 and Silver Sonic are done with their mission.

    Seems like we pissed GUN off makes sense considering we stole their cash and destroyed their investors trust in them.

    Feels more like our shenanigans had GUN win a lot more of funding/trust from the Government so they are leveling up out of the wazoo

    Tails also collaborating with them helps a fuckin lot. Reminder that only three people figured out Chaos mechanics. Two of them are Robotniks and the third is Tails

    The thing with GUN is that they need investors to fund most of their toys, so in their eyes they see three of the main reasons of why fort ox got raided and decided that if they take out team egg they could win back the trust of the investors.

    Meanwhile if we smash Tails base under their aegis, they will have a lot of egg on their face.

    That the plan now it seems at first it was just vengeance for tails interrupting us but if we can deliver another blow to GUN's rep while stealing some of tails stuff, all the better in my eyes after all GUN came to defend tails and if they couldn't defend even one person after we raided their fort then it will ruin their rep.

    ...Then again, maybe this is just a force assigned to hunt Team Egg specifically after the debacle at Fort Ox, and we had the bad luck of them finding us mid-raid.

    It's not like team egg is stealthy seeing as it contains one giant green machine, a shiny sonic lookalike and a flying lumberjack those all scream look over here.
