To fix mag? We'd have to wipe his mind and put in a new personality. There is pretty much nothing left there.

Just to get his powers under control so he can control the "connection" ability. The ability to force that onto others would be awesome, and if Crazy Train applies to force weapon rolls, then we've just found the ultimate anti-Daemon weapon. Having a personality is optional, so long as we retain the ability to point him at things and access to the ship/supertech. It's cold, but... he could be very, very useful to us. And honestly, with his power under control and other people around, he would probably be a lot happier than he is now.

Given time with Mirande and some good psychotherapy, he could probably recover some personality elements, to boot.

Okay, that's optimistic, but optimistic is a huge step up from what I thought you meant. I'm on board with turning him into a weapon

Christ. I'm not. All he needs is the ability to avoid fatebonding people and some therapy.

Thank fuck Mirande is a kind and benevolent soul who won't want to turn Mag into a weapon.

Weapon is "worst we can do" if all else fails, but I'm hopeful that time with Mirande and some psychotherapy can at least give him hope and happiness. Control of his situation, understanding of what his power did to him, and having people around who don't die by the score should do the rest.

His situation is just so shitty that almost anything is an improvement.

Also, with Mag and Jinah around, we have the beginnings of a totally killer sentai team.

(He even has the slightly different cloak and mask design from the team standard, to show what a rebel he is. But he always shows up for the season finale)

So would it be possible to dramatically increase the Psyker population by combining the DNA of Psykers and people most like to produce psykers naturally? What was I thinking was that we could create a program where the DNA of psykers and people most likely to give birth to psykers were taken to artificially birth psyker children who would be raised by families approved and paid by the state while receiving learning of how to use their abilities.

Fun, dwarf fortress edition.

Dandriss life is NOT immune to Chaos or Warp fuckery, merely resistant, and capable of throwing a lot of mass at the problem. It had problems with a rift that's significantly smaller than the planet, and would not be keeping up with a rift bigger than the planet.

It's the old energy field larger than head thing again.

Due note that the trees managed to easily close warp breaches prior and that the third one was created by an exalted greater deamon along with other daemons that created bacteria and toxins that were killing the trees before they were able to grow.

That would be extremely unsafe at our current technology level. We'd need a lot more warp/psi/medical research before we tried anything of the sort.

And the eye of terror is full of daemons who will do that enthusiastically. Beyond that, remember that the warp deadening aspect of Dandriss comes from it's C'tan nature. C'tan anti-warp tech can handle some warp energy, but the blackstone fortresses with their distort weapons are proof that they cannot survive immersion.

actually it's warp deadening is probably at least partially born from it eating warp energy due to its eldar origins.

Why? wouldn't it be not that different than if they were given birth naturally? I mean all we would be doing is having them grow and develop in artificial wombs instead of natural wombs.
Iron wombs produce spiritually unstable humans. Psykers produced through this method would be immeasurably more difficult to control than naturally birthed psykers.

I think this required adv. or greater AG to be a possibility, but yes, if we wanted more psykers this would be an infinitely safer and easier way to do so.

The General consensus seemed to be that the first Greater Biomancy power we were grabbing was AG, so I was operating under that premise.

Maybe we should see if we can steal some Alec sperm?:drevil:

Wait weren't the Primarchs artificially created? Yes I know it was Big Emps doing but if he can artificially create Demi-gods with one of them even being the second most powerful human psyker ever born then it should be way easier for us to artificially birth normal psykers.

Why stop at normal psykers?
Why not make 20 super daughters or "Psymarchs" and 20 legions of super soldiers based on them.
