It was busy specifically because of the day you went to it. That's like complaining that churches are busy all the time and you will never get peace and quiet because you go there on Easter. Had you been working there and doing night shifts, there would have been other days when you were the only person around.
That wasn't very clear at all, I'm afraid. I mean now that you say it, that could be deduced, but just from reading the posts? I wouldn't have gotten that impression at all.
Let's be honest here, though. If we had taken any other path than the one we did, we wouldn't be where we are. A whole shitload of weird coincidences have converged to give us Super Mirande, Green Owl is actually really stable, and a bunch of cool/good stuff has come of this, even if it's been a bit of a double-edged sword at times.

I'm honestly really, really fine with how everything shook out in the end.

Well true. I'm not sour about the outcome at all. It seems to have gone really well and I'm perfectly happy with where we are right now.

Just, I feel that it'd be helpful to indicate why there was such a huge disconnect. Also because I think it's strange to say that the playerbase was disinterested when it seems like they put quite a bit of effort into it.

That's the feedback we got about the number of people when we took the 'working at the temple' action.

Thus far, missing these little clues hasn't bitten us in the ass in a major and visible way. We just gotta keep our eyes open. I mean, it is in the nature of questing that with the disconnect between author perception and audience perception things don't get communicated the way the author intends them to. Everyone reads things differently and prioritizes differently. We may catch more subtle hints in the future, but i kind of doubt it.

I am hyped to find out what was actually behind the 504. Until just now i assumed they had gone fucking crazy by eating a whole bunch of Khorne Flakes...

And hey, just getting rid of a problem by annihilating all its resources and people instead of solving the underlying issues is a proud human tradition in 40k. We are just being the spiritual predecessors of the Imperium, nothing wrong with that!

So I guess we (retroactively) pick our major this year (unless those aren't a thing anymore and we just get some generic universal degree?) Ekans wants math and made that more than clear. Any other ideas?

We also had a time limit to prepare for the quest and the temple didn't show results for that except for some clues about the quest locations.
We knew the quest involved combat so we went to the military academy to aquire them. In the last year we had to look for companions and a way to aquire recources.

As far as we could see, from what we knew then, there was no tangible advantage to going to the temple for a second year, in comparsion to the options we took, when we had limited time to prepare for the quest.

Warp physics/Dandriss Wildlife seems an easy option to choose given what's happened to Mirande. Math/Astronomy for orbital mechanics and thinking of the greater galaxy. Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology for a more social build to improve her diplomacy and understanding of humans further and the way societies form, change and evolve.

@Academia Nut
Is there a possibility to put the university on back burner as two action/round?

Or make practicing martial arts choosable as an advisor action?
After all we are training as Jedi, and have us learn a proper martial Art to be more effective special forces would very well help the whole policy, as does our training powers or building Force weaponry, actions choosable as advisor actions.

If at all possible I want us to have an action/turn training martial arts, after all we need years to learn SutW, and for this we need dedication.
But since university literally takes 3/4 of our actions we really cannot do much else at the moment.
