A Penguin Flailing Against The Keyboard Of Life.
Of course, but somebody is wrong on the Internet. That's just not the type of thing that I can leave uncorrected.
We shall put our leather-making skills to use, and make a dress out of our enemies.
We have no tools. We shall put our leather-making skills to use, and make a dress out of our enemies.
Leather makeing requires a lot of resources we don't haveWe shall put our leather-making skills to use, and make a dress out of our enemies.

This isn't something Cedra would do without a very good reason to test it. Just because it wouldn't have a lasting effect, doesn't mean someone wants to stab themselves.-[X]Can our regeneration push things out of wounds?
--[X]Does our regeneration make us hungry when we use it, or are we hungry right now anyways?
1: We are not in a clearing and are currently surrounded by trees. Attempting to make Extra Explosive fire here is a bad idea.--[X] See if we can compress air
---[X] See if we can ignite compressed air for an explosion
--[X] Try using air to push lots of gathered wood chips into a stream of air through our fireball, so that we have a fire attack that burns a lot of things at once.
-[X] see if your fire spell is more powerful in any way.
Gusts of wind can flare up fires. Therefore air has something to do with fire. Maybe more air equals more fire?2: What reason would Cedra have for thinking of a compressed air explosion, or even compressed air at all.
You have a very good point here, but moving allows the GM to roll encounter dice, and then we have to fight, and then we don't get to do science. I'd rather set ourselves on fire by accident than put this off for another who-knows-how-long, because I'm kind of sick of the interruptions.1: We are not in a clearing and are currently surrounded by trees. Also remember the last time there was all that panic of starting a forest fire. We're owed one now.You have a very good point here, but moving allows the GM to roll encounter dice, and then we have to fight, and then we don't get to do science. Bring on the self-incineration!
Adding wind to the fire is not something I am against, since it would be reasonable to assume Cedra has, at some point, seen bellows being used at a smithy. What I don't think is reasonable for a 14 year old commoner to know about is how air compression works.Gusts of wind can flare up fires. Therefore air has something to do with fire. Maybe more air equals more fire?
We will get an encounter roll either way, the only difference is going to be whether they come to us while we are testing or we stumble upon them while we are looking for a clearing/pool/stream/river.You have a very good point here, but moving allows the GM to roll encounter dice, and then we have to fight, and then we don't get to do science. Well, since you insist, I suppose that we can incinerate that too. [/Joking]It wasn't a matter of setting ourselves on fire, it was a matter of setting the forest on fire.
its more complicated than that. It'll be easy:
Cut a hide into strips.
Poke holes in a larger hide, using your sword.
Tye strips through the larger hide to hold it together in a certain shape.
Repeat until you are covered.
A dress made like this will retain enough modesty that we won't feel too bad about walking into town and buying something better.
If we want something NICE. If we want something atleast functional, that should do it. Especially since people didn't always have tools and what-not, and made clothes and the like out of pelts.
It's just to last us long enough to walk into a town and get something better.
Correct. This isn't something Cedra would do without a very good reason to test it. Just because it wouldn't have a lasting effect, doesn't mean someone wants to stab themselves.
Speaking of potable water, unless Cedra knows that she should sterilize the water first, drinking anything that she didn't get from town is likely to poison her.[X] Find a place to rest and heal, ideally with a source of potable water
Cedra needs a break I think, and she can't have more than a day worth of water left in her waterskin (assuming she even brought one).
While resting, she can probably do some of those tests people wanted.
Testing this will be painful, really damn painful. Just because you can ignore pain and it will heal, doesn't mean you want to feel it and mutilate yourself in the name of SCIENCE (which you haven't heard of)-[X] Have we observed our regeneration pushing things out of wounds?
--[X]Does our regeneration make us hungry when it works?
