A Villain In A World Of Heroes

Interestingly enough, the girl is never named in the event, is she?
We only know our name is Cedra because it's on our character sheet. It's never been brought up, but the law of conservation of detail implies that the girl is a plot important character, with regeneration, only fire and ice spells, red eyes, and a love for fighting and killing large animals, who's been doing it long enough to spook the animals of the forest. It may sound conceited, but I don't think that there are any other girls matching that description near the Forest of DeathTM

*Implies Pratangonist survives long enough for us to get over our nigh-suicidal depression, find a suitable guy while SV lives in her head, get married, and then have something happen to us that would require our daughter to undergo the Trial of blood*
A couple points.
You don't have to be in a good mental state to have a child.
Almost every quest I've been a part of on SV has had several people trying ship the PC with people, so I don' think it is too much of a stretch to assume the same might happen here.
You don't need to be married to have a child.
You don't always get to choose when to have a child or who the father is.
I don't believe anyone needs a reason to do the trial of blood. It certainly helps, but she could also just do it for fun (especially if the child happens to get some of the more feral traits).

edit: I'm aware that this post was unnecessary.

[X] Do that experimentation that we were going to do before we got jumped by those wolves.
-[X] Experiment near the edge of the forest.
--[X] How much force can we exert with our bolts?
--[X]Do we lose control of them when we stab something, or when we let go of it?
--[X]What activates it's freezing component?
--[X]Can we make two bolts parallel to each other and place wooden planks perpendicular to the bolts to make a flying raft thingy?
--[X] Can we grab the bolts without hurting ourselves (This is a valid thing because we have regeneration)?
--[X] Can we make them needle thin?
--[X] Can we make them really thick?
--[X]How much can we make them lift, or does touching something make us lose control over it?
--[X] How many can we control at one time?
-[X]How's our raw magical power coming along, now that we've eaten multiple magical creatures (I mean things like the wordless telekinesis. How much can we lift)?
-[X]Can our regeneration push things out of wounds?
--[X]Does our regeneration make us hungry when we use it, or are we hungry right now anyways?
-[X] Test advanced senses/body. Can we hear anything rustling around in the silent woods that we couldn't before?
--[X] How much physically stronger are we now? Try picking up rocks and stuff and throwing them as fast as we can to get a sense for the difference.
-[X]We could try manipulating the air to go away from an object to create a vacuum
--[X] Try seeing how hard or soft a wind we can create
--[X] Try seeing if we can make sounds
--[X] See if pushing wind through our fireball can make it bigger
--[X] See if we can compress air
---[X] See if we can ignite compressed air for an explosion
--[X] Try using air to push dust off the ground into the air so that our fireball creates an explosion
-[X]Try reaching through the unicorn horn to find our magic, i.e reaching inside the unicorn horn for magical power, like how we reached inside ourselves to find ours.
[X] Make sure to keep watch as you do this. Advanced senses only work if you use them, after all.

[X] Train. You're starting to get halfway decent with your setup, but there is no way that it will be as good as if you had actually taken the time to come up with a battle style.

Wandering Wins

Fire Raccoons
Always wandering, it seems like you do little else now. It has been less then two days since you entered the forrest, but it seems like it has been so much longer. You doubt that your old self would even recognize your new one, you had changed a lot in such a short amount of time. As you are thinking to yourself and walking through the deep forest, where the trees are thick and crowded together, you are ambushed.

From the trees come what looks like four bundles fur and fire? It is hard to tell, they fall too fast. They fall around you, to be specific, and they scratch you skin, leaving gashes straight down your face, arms, and back, which is horribly painful of course. Although, strangely, you receive no serious burns, they likely because the fire was turned away from you. The things fall to the ground around you, and you realize that they are raccoons, raccoons with their backs on fire, yet they seem unharmed. They start scurrying up the trees, probably to repeat the same tactic as before.

[]

Well, fire and wind are bad choices here.

Nova Glaciem seems like a good choice here, and our sword isn't too bad either.

[X] Intercept them. Use Nova Glacium. Steel will melt, wind will simply knock them about, fire will only make them stronger. Ice is your only useful weapon here.

How the hell do you intend to ambush them when they just attacked us? Also remember when I was saying Ice is the only way to kill things in this quest ...

While I like the premise, I am compelled to nitpick and point out that you can't ambush an enemy that a. ambushed you 5 seconds ago b. can see you.
Iron (which I presume is what our shortsword is made of, since steel is expensive to make) has a melting point of around 1510 degrees C (2750°F). This is significantly higher (about 4-5x more) than the autoignition point of wood. (i.e. if the trees aren't on fire, we do not need to worry about our sword melting)
Wind can also make fire stronger. ;)

[X] Cast Nova Glaciem on the nearest fire racoons
-[X] If they leave vision, take out our shortsword and prepare to defend from their attack
--[X] If they remain in melee range after their attack, fight them using the sword, using Nova Glaciem if an opportunity presents itself
---[X] If they exit melee range, Repeat from step 1
Also remember when I was saying Ice is the only way to kill things in this quest ...
We are in a forest, and we randomly rolled a plant that randomly rolled fire immunity through critical bonuses, and then randomly rolled a fire-infused rodent. These are the only times we have not had fire as an option. We chose as a group, to use ice every other time.

[] Hold an icebolt above your head horizontally without firing it, using one hand if you really need the coordination that badly. This is so that they can't just jump on us as easily.
[] Shoot Icebolts at them. Aim for center of mass, because any freezing at all done to a fire raccoon is probably going to kill it.

Edit: Ninja'd by a better plan.

I already fixed it. It now says intercept. I used the wrong word earlier.

you know, with all our Ice usage maybe we should get a trait or something?

Ice Lover: Will use Ice at every opportunity to do so.

I think every time that we roll for the same trait, the DC should go down by one, because it becomes more and more obvious that that is a trait that we have, regardless of whether or not we get bonuses for displaying it.

If their flames were hot enough to melt steel in the brief duration our sword would be in contact with them, we would get severe burns just from being near them.
They are still not THAT hot, considering the trees themselves aren't on fire. They were in the branches, meaning very close proximity to a punch of leaves and thinner branches. And I'm pretty sure they aren't even scorching the grass beneath them.
