A Villain In A World Of Heroes

For the same reasons. We haven't really gotten appreciable gains. If we left now, we'd only be a few levels higher, and a Whiticorn horn and some shoddy armour richer.

Chainmail is very effective armour against mundane weapons. The design is especially effective against slashing and piercing weapons (e.g. claws and teeth, swords and arrows). I would also point out that this is unlikely to be a full suit of chainmail, which would almost certainly not fit Cedra, and is more likely to be a simple chain shirt/vest, which is significantly quieter than a chainmail suit, and protects our vital organs. It is probably a bit of an ill fit, but it is still better than no armour at all.

Our Trail of Blood has only been going on for one day, and while it was a extremely productive day, it's too soon to go back now.

Nothing could possibly go wrong

Assuming that we have actually killed said Hero/incapacitated him in a manner that he cannot resist, and that we have a disease resistance spell that we constantly cast on ourselves so that we don't catch the horrible diseases that live inside other humans that we somehow just ignore our special brand of for the most part even though they're ridiculously deadly, I see no reason not to eat him.

Edit: Added a link for emphasis. There are multiple pages of that. Have a quote, as well.
This table lists only a fraction of the total bacterial species that occur as normal flora of humans. A recent experiment that used 16S RNA probes to survey the diversity of bacteria in dental plaque revealed that only one percent of the total species found have ever been cultivated. Similar observations have been made with the intestinal flora.

Question.

Despite the earlier Hero, how 'good' is the average hero?

Or are we going by the Greek variant?

Edit: The whole paranoia about eating raw flesh needs to die, we are all in a frikkin' high fantasy setting.

Remember how I showed some pics earlier? These:

Well, I came up with more, a lot more.

While you discuss pictures, I will work on the update, so I need a vote tally. Also, remember this is NOT a vote.

What is the Greek variant? Also, it's all variable, but the average hero could slaughter everyone in your entire city, all at once, single handedly, along with every enemy you have faced so far

Have an essay. They were jerks. Colossal jerks. Theseus kidnapped a baby Helen (Yes, that one) in order to marry her when she grew up. When he was forty. Keep in mind, this was after kidnapping an Amazon and... well, you get the idea. He also killed lots of other Amazons when they came to get her back. Proantagonist probably counts as one.

Votes locked, this wins.

Dark Ness threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: Encounter +5 Total: 32
32 32
Dark Ness threw 1 3-faced dice. Reason: How many? +2 Total: 3
3 3
Dark Ness threw 1 4-faced dice. Reason: Trait? Total: 3
3 3

Actually, Is there any dark gods we can worship for power? Is there a satan we can barter with?

And can we make eating people and/or things our thing?

I second the first suggestion, and would like to point out that as long as we're allowed to vote, eating things for their power is pretty much a guarantee, considering that even the side effects, so far, have been either beneficial, desirable for roleplaying reasons, or a mix of the two. Unless it'd hurt us more than help us, we're eating it.
