A Villain In A World Of Heroes

[X] Eat the meat
[x] Try to eat the horn.
[X] Yes

Our first truly villainous action seems to have been a resounding success!

It appears that we've been survived this encounter with a Mentalist Foe. We have to learn how to defend against stuff like that.

We should try using the Whitecorn Horn as a focus for our spells, after seeing what happens if we nibble just a little on the base to see if it's edible, of course.

I see you with my special eyes.
So should we do it? Or keep it?

Obviously, the difference is one of Focus or Enhancement.

Using it as an Item means that we focus our power, kind of like a magnifying glass. Powerful, yes, but we can be separated from the Horn; it becomes a crutch, and, if we start upgrading it or something, we could be rendered a lot less dangerous if we're disarmed.

Eating it is internalizing the power, like building up a pile of radioactive materials so that they emit more radiation. We don't really gain much more of a way to control our power, but I suspect that things like nonverbal spells might become easier. The downside is that in a fight with the Us who kept the Horn, we'd probably lose, but we'd be a lot more versatile and dangerous, overall, because you can't really disarm somebody who's fighting unarmed and has regeneration... well, not for long, at least, and we can easily ignore the pain.

You might want to check the update again, you may be missing some "special" text

It seems that I've made a slight habit of choosing the invisi-text option without actually seeing it. Fascinating...

[jk] Stick the horn to your head. You are now a unicorn princess. Who is evil and totally going to murder the crap out of the dude who killed her dad.

[jk] Convince your Unicorn friend to help you seed the idea that Unicorns only approach Virgins
-[jk] Make sure that you are quite convincing
[jk] Use magic to turn yourself into a unicorn
[jk] Approach Heroes on a unicorn hunt, Protagonist among them, using a virgin maiden as bait
[jk] When you approach, look like you're going towards the maiden until the last second, then approach Protagonist and place your head in his lap instead
[jk] While everybody is laughing at him and he's looking all confused, jab your head forwards and stab him, then run away.

@Dark Ness , quick question? Do we regenerate symbiotic organisms as long as we consider them part of our body? Because teeth are awfully funny things, and I don't know if they'd count or not. If they did, we could make a quick buck selling our teeth to a Denture maker.

Another question: Are we going to end up with a proclivity for eating things without knowing exactly what they are?

(I mean doing it as a default action for everything that doesn't seem too suspicious)

I ask because I'm still pushing the "Infiltrate a Hero's Team" long-term plan, and it'd be hilarious if we kept getting caught gorging on the monsters the hero has slain when we think nobody is looking. We'll never get rid of our Fenric wolf nature! It's just too useful and in character! Mwuahahahahahahahaha!

We will become the reincarnation Tuk-Tuk, aspiring gourmet. We will eat everything atleast once.

I feel that you could be safe in adding that trait to us if we never vote Not to Eat something during our whole trial...

But what about the time you eat mysterious, (unknowing) poisoned meat, and then die? You have only eaten things you have either killed yourself, or in this case, had a literal unicorn give you (and you were still the one who killed it). This is very different from finding a piece of meat in some one's lockbox or something and then eating It.
