A Villain In A World Of Heroes

[X] Continue wandering the forest
[X] Experiment. You miss too easily, and your swordplay is weak. Fortunately, you have both magic and a weapon. Time to get creative, and find a combat style that suits you.

Changed, because I want both of these.
[X] Take the antlers they will sell well
Guys we need to rest up pushing to far will get us killed .

if we want to experiment we should make camp first

Maybe not try to experiment with fighting styles (of which Cedra probably knows of none) in the middle of the death forest as evening approaches.

If you want to experiment you should go back to town where we aren't liable to run into monsters.

You can't do both, by the time you finsh wandering (where you will probably get into a battle anyways) it will be too late to experiment and vice-versa.

That seems like a sub-option to me.
because i dont really care what else we do but i feel that this will be important in providing funds to buy better equipment and more advance spell books and since this semes to be a somwhat medevil land antlers from a full grown elk would be quite valuable so an elk lord would logicically be more so

Darn. Well, then, I guess I'll go change my vote again. We need to learn more about our spells, after all.
[X] Experiment near the edge of the forest.
-[X] How much force can we exert with our bolts?
-[X]Do we lose control of them when we stab something, or when we "let go" of it?
-[X]What activates it's freezing component?
-[X]Can we make two bolts parallel to each other and place wooden planks perpendicular to the bolts to make a flying raft thingy?
-[X] Can we grab the bolts without hurting ourselves (This is a valid thing because we have regeneration)?
-[X] Can we make them needle thin?
-[X] Can we make them really thick?
-[X]How much can we make them lift, or does touching something make us lose control over it?
-[X] How many can we control at one time?
-[X]How's our raw magical power coming along, now that we've eaten two magical creatures (I mean things like the wordless telekinesis)?
-[X]Can our regeneration push things out of wounds?
-[X]Does our regeneration make us hungry when we use it, or are we hungry right now anyways?
-[X] Test holding our breath to see if regeneration helps with that.
-[X] Test advanced senses. Can we hear anything rustling around in the silent woods that we couldn't before?
-[X] How much physically stronger are we now? Try picking up rocks and stuff and throwing them as fast as we can to get a sense for the difference.
[X] Make sure to keep watch as you do this. Advanced senses only work if you use them, after all.

Why? Why do we need to experiment right now, as evening approaches? Why do we need to experiment in the middle of the death forest? Why experiment while covered in two types of blood and carrying raw meat? Why experiment during our Trial of Blood, instead of after, when we're not surrounded by monsters we want to kill and eat? Why is this so important to you that you willingly put Cedra in a position to be ambushed by any number of those monsters?

To me, this wasn't going to be a afternoon thing. I thought we were gonna be in here for a while. Days maybe.
And I don't see how experimenting would make us vulnerable to attack. Right now all we are doing is wandering around looking for monsters to fight, so how is that any different from standing in one place waiting for monsters to come along?

Obviously, because we are suicidal. :V

Because then they'll get the drop on us. Or rather, they would, but we have advanced senses from two different a magically potent creatures super-wolf right now. We should still be cautious, though, and pause every once in a while to listen to the forest.

[X] Find a safe place to camp for the night. In the morning, we'll come out of the woods, with the antlers.

We did just fought and killed two powerful creatures of the forest which should be way out of our weight class (their descriptions make it sound like something a beginner Hero would fight, let alone a 14 year old girl). If we aren't feeling tired, that means something.

You aren't tired right now, but only because you are hopped up on magic, blood, and adrenaline.

how does the economy of the land work? ho mych are various animal parts worth? i ask because i want to figure out exactly how much the antlers would have been worth in a real world setting

You aren't entirely sure, you only dealt with leather. Some-what valuable at least, would be your guess. Also, there is no set prices beyond merchant's guilds and things like that. (Your city doesn't have one).

Only the wolf's senses.

I was, and still am, expecting to spend several days killing things here in the death forest. That does not mean we have to be stupid about it though.

Cedra was wandering around with the specific goal of finding monsters and killing them so she can eat their hearts. This is very different from standing around in a clearing and focusing on magical experimentation. The only reason Cedra stood a chance against the Fenric Wolf was because she had the initiative. With the Elk Lord, her newly enhanced senses allowed her to notice the Elk Lord before it started its charge.

I would also like to point out that Cedra, having been a merchant's daughter, almost certainly knows little more about combat than 'pointy end towards the enemy.' What exactly are you hoping to gain from doing this? If Cedra had taken more than a day to train with the sword or magic then I could see how this would be valuable.

Clarification (because I tend to make run-on sentences and go on tangents): I do think we should experiment eventually, but this is neither the time nor the place for it.

So @Dark Ness , can we be considered a low class Witcher?;)

I figure that we'll head back to the inn under cover of darkness. Maybe wash ourselves off before entering. It'd be conspicuous of us to waltz into a room full of drunken people while covered in blood, and people may see us if we use a well to wash off during the day. Speaking of which, we should totally boil the water in that well before pouring it on us. Wouldn't want to get any horrible diseases, now.

But I digress. We should experiment near the edge of the forest, but far enough in that people can't see us from outside.

Reasons to know specifics about our magical (and martial) abilities. We have asked many questions that Dark Ness has responded with "You don't know", because according to him, the only thing we did was see if we could cast the spell. Things like if we can hold a icicle mid air, if we can have it support weight, how much, stuff like that. There was more, but that's the only things that I can recall off the top of my head.
