A Villain In A World Of Heroes

Does eating the heart turn us into a werewolf? Or what do the legends our villain knows say?

No one that you know of, in legends or not, has actually eaten a Feric Wolf's heart, so you have no idea. The legends weren't exactly specific, just stuff like "by eating the hearts of his foes, he gain great strength to challenge blah blah blah." You just have random info from bedtime stories and the like.

[X] Eat the heart

[X] You aren't strong enough, good enough, even if you win a thousand battles, it doesn't matter if you don't gain more power. So, keep going until you do so.

Hmm...

[X] Use a Nova Glacium to freeze the heart and keep it fresh while killing any potential parasites inside. Then thaw it to eat it. Possibly with that fire spell.
[X] Keep going, but memorize where the corpse is. That's a lot of pelt that is going to be very valuable. You may also want to cut off the head to prove your kill.
-[X] Be cautious in your endeavors. If you don't think you can kill something, leave it be and run the fuck away. We're here to get stronger for our revenge, not killed off before we can achieve it.

Who says that we can't eat more than one heart? I'm pretty sure that there isn't any rule against it.

Better safe than sorry. Besides, not sure if cooking it will prevent us from getting its powers, so freezing it should work. Flash freeze followed by flash thaw should work, though.

EDIT: I just realized- this is a monster that gets stronger the more magical beings it eats. I say we eat the heart. If it works, we get the power to gain power by eating the flesh of our foes ala Rou from Re:Monster. If it doesn't, we die and the quest is over.

Sp, we've had dinner... How long until we make camp in a tree with a crackling fire next to it, the smell of smoke wafting around to better prevent monsters from finding us sleeping in said tree and eating us?

Edit: And if we come across a Dire Artichoke, can we eat it's heart too?

EditEdit: And will this always be a thing with us? Consuming the hearts of things we kill, even in the company of others if nobody is looking? Because that'd be an interesting character trait.

Is eat everything an option?

[X] You fought a Fenric Wolf and won, something few can boast (even if it was young), that is plenty, return to the city.

Edit

[X] If we haven't eaten it already, check the heart for parasites and then, only if our mediocre check comes up clean, do we consume it. Also wrap some more of the meat in some of the hide, so we have rations for extra-questing time; we can cook with magic and a pointy stick to place the meat on, when next we hunger for something that isn't the hearts of our enemies.

We haven't leveled up yet! /kidding

[X]Eat the heart, pack the meat up for rations, and make sure to take the teeth and claws as well. They might come in handy, or even be valuable to the right person.

-[X] But don't hesitate to snag advantages that come another way. That would be silly.

edit: also, This is on a phone, so there may be new votes from the same person. Sorry.

I would say that eat the heart and keep going have won. Also, the suboption of killing any potential parasites also seem to have won.

Along with scavenge the carcass for a few meals worth of meat wrapped in hide, in case we get the munchies, or to use as bait.

Edit: it's not "kill parasites", it's "check for them". I don't want to cook the heart if we don't have to.

Two say flash freeze-and-fry, six say check, and if it looks clean nom it.

Votes locked (Thank you)

Also, there is no parasites you are in the clear. I am surprised that no one chose not to eat it, I guess I underestimated SV's love of the shiny.

Edit: You didn't get much.

I will give you one more chance, a reroll, but you get minus 10 on the encounter roll in exchange, what say you?

[] Risk It.
