I imagine a somewhat nice plan would be to visit the local temple (of the district of the child to collect) and invite the prist along. Partly congratulating the priest for safekeeping the soul of an psyker and partly to put the family at ease. Because giving yourself to the Adept/Temple is the right thing to do. If they do not wish to come with we will have to do our duty without them.
