A school for the cursed: A Psyker Quest. Warhammer 40k quest.

Looking forward to this.

[] Plan: Hands Off Manipulation
-[] Sevan
-[] Girl
-[] Convincing lots of kids to join your gang:
-[] Force him to drop you with a glare:
-[] Shred him with a spray of metal fragments:
-[] Use it discretely to get ahead in life:

So idea for this plan is a more manipulation type individual who doesn't get her hands dirty directly.

[] Plan: Flesh is Weak but Mind Strong
-[] Octis
-[] Boy
-[] Making the ones in your gang do better:
-[] A complex plan that worked just right:
-[] Crush his wrist with your bare hands:
-[] Hit him with a massive rock:
-[] Make an effort to try to hide your ability:

Notably more physically and focused around direct combat with this one a real battlefield asset.

[] Plan: Feathers of death
-[] Eliza Tailor
-[] Girl
-[] Making the ones in your gang do better
-[] A complex plan that worked just right
-[] Deliver a perfect kick at just the right spot to make him drop you
-[] Shred him with a spray of metal fragments
-[] Give yourself up

Divination could be great for headmaster/leader, as for smaller telekinesis, consider how much easier the paperwork would be. Also divination could allow for a domino effect and giving up could mesh with divination quite well if we enter the church at right time. I admit it is a bit of a refrence and a tzeentch bait build

Uh our character is not really supposed to be in the back they will have to actually fight the demons that come out of our students and other such horrors.

I'll advocate for Telepathy as our secondary, because affinity with that discipline works both for offense and defense, and a lot of Psyker vs. Psyker (or Psyker vs. Daemon) battles end up being fought in mindscapes or through trying to psychically dominate the other. That, and make our thoughts and memories better shielded against mental probes.

In addition, it'll be useful for scanning over the minds of our students to make sure they're not plotting anything nefarious or compromised.

Let's go with Panecea but in man

Biomancy would give us resistance against mutations

I always wondered why there were no biomancers that were gene-smiths. Psykers burn out most of the time because their bodies are to weak to ground the power they use. Why was there no effort for biomancers to make stable psykers? They seemed the best possible people to catch mistakes early. The emperor made custodes so biomancers could atlest have tried to shoot for a lower goal.

Biomancy is difficult for one. But I imagine it does happen. And Biomancers are definitely the healthiest and strongest Psykers out there.

Another issue is that nobody wants people to know they are being treated by a Biomancer for ailments, due to heavy distrust towards Psykers. But I imagine its actually quite common for nobles.

And that in some planets and organizations would put that person through some kind of life threatening purity test for being so willing to be touched by the warp.

Absolutely. There is a novel where a ship captain shoots the officer who'd arranged a feast, for letting a Ratling prepare the meal. Now imagine letting a biomancer cure a disease?

Bit too much of a reference. But I like the concept behind it.

With biomancy we can make an army of SPARTAN and another of chimeric beasts like real dragons

powerlisting.fandom.com

Biological Manipulation

The power to manipulate the biology of living organisms. Sub-power of Life Manipulation and Matter Manipulation. Technique of Organic Manipulation. Biokinesis Biology/Physiological/Physiology Manipulation Users can manipulate the Biology/Physiology of living organisms, including but not limited...

We can also do the crazy stuff from Resident Evil

or also mold the flesh like the Tzimisce clan of Vampire The Masquerade

Don't think that it's likely our mc will live long if they have such monstrous parodies of the human form about the place, like why do you think that with how 40k humanity treats mutants?

Being a biomancer we can improve mutants and abhumans, such as making the Ogryn more intelligent or making the Imperial beastmen stronger

We can also at least improve humans to the level of Captain America

We would be mad scientists of biology, the limit would be what the author allows us to do with the powers

We could have Godzilla, Smaug, etc. as pets, any biological beast that we can create

And who better to be the director of a school of psychics than the best doctor

I shall vote for this plan, I like one that we give our selves to the church and has biokinesis and making our people do better.

Again, you'd need to come up with a real good explanation for why this isn't considered heresy to whatever Inquisitor pops by, especially the Monodominants who are just itching to have a reason to put a bolt shell through our skull for being a Witch. Doing some mad science Warp Fuckery for the lulz is a good enough reason for them.

Yeah, doing mad science with psychic powers is not a good idea. If nothing else, you'd get an Inquisitor that would just go, "Look, you might still be on our side...but better safe than sorry because there is no promise that you will stay on our side," and then we are promptly executed.

The fun is doing the mad, without getting caught - or, at least, being able to. If we're not at least leaving "aspire to become lord of a warp rift" on the table, are you sure we're doing it right?
