That psi-artisanry success with the AdMech is a political coup for the Telepathica, the Mechanic having a created interest in this psykana enclave monumentally increases our organization's influence and Adepta negotiation power in the sector. Which is great, because with the Inquisition playing espionage games, that boost in leverage is absolutely going to be needed, probably sooner rather than later.
Otherwise, a very successful turn. The teachers bit was disappointing, but it didn't make anything worse, and everything else went swimmingly.
The diviner using the Emperor's Tarot to play Shadow Realm Yugioh matches was a treat. I loved that whole sequence immensely.

I just started reading this quest (and using this site) and I'm wondering if you have a rough schedule for updates?
Yeah, it's nice that none of our colleagues were particularly racist towards Martha or something that would require us to hate them, they just disapprove of our theories and somewhat compete with us for resources. As is only natural for academia.

Occam seemed to have emotional reaction to Martha being hurt. Conditioning of Acceptance should have allowed him to act in a more clear-headed manner.
I believe that condition is for Occam himself and not anyone he considers a close friends so while Occam feels little to nothing when he is personally insulted God-Emperor help anyone who hurts his friends.

Okay. What is this Inquisititor's angle here? Were they trying to interogate Martha for information? Were they trying to lure Occam out by using Martha as a hostage? The former makes sense. The latter does not. If the exploding servitor didn't work, why would a hostage situation?
Might have been completely unrelated with an Inquisitor who genuinely view the Votann as xenos rather than abhumans and Martha was unlucky enough to be caught in the middle.
That... is a genuinely terrifying thing to think about. Having beef with one inquisitor is bad enough. If we have to deal with multiple is going to be rough.

Lol. So our first combat mission will be fighting genestealer cultists, nice. Fighting urban warfare against an enemy who can look like anyone, turn anyone against us, has access to shock troops on the same level as SM and can deploy psychers of its own will be quite hard. Having telepaths to coordinate and diviners to avoid ambush would be nice.
Nope. The Melding are an entirely different bunch of mutant rebels. They originated from a trio of Hive Worlds that got caught in a Warp Storm for a decade, and use a lot of cybernetics.
