The main reason so far is I wouldn't let them send there Senators into a Dothraki infested forest to get killed or kidnapped and ransomed.

I think if you add up the number of places Braavos has attacked or conquered, they amount to a tiny fraction of those Volantis has. For that matter, Laketown's done more territorial expansion than Braavos by far.

They haven't actually conquered anywhere really - the Stepstones were ceded by an ally in return for assistance.

The Iron Marches were ceded to us by the Summer Empire in return for our assistance, as that is one of the places you seem to think we conquered...
I don't honestly see exactly what they are doing that is so intrusive.

It does endanger the integrity of the Senate if they are caught and ransomed, there is also the danger that they revealed away out of Qohor which could be equally used to get in by the city's enemies.
