Let's see here.

The Westerlands are a hotbed of sedition, Arryns are being hanged, Ironborn are being shot and burned, the Master of Ships gets stabbed by what he swears was a Westerlander...

But yeah, suuuure the Lannisters who escaped justice have nothing to do with any of this.

I'm not saying she's making it better...but everything she's saying is reactive. They sentenced her for the crime of being some dude's sister. That's not right. She waited years and years just to be able to go on with her life. Maelys and co tell her to fuck off. That's not right. I point out she's not guilty of anything. They try and pin a crime on her. That's not right. She defends herself that she didn't do it. Tully tries to tar her reputation...and then takes it back.

None of that is right, and it's all super easy to fix.

The strong do what they want, the weak survive it as best they can. Guess what side of the equation you're on here.

War hero, royal relative, Crownlander magnate, Small Councillor....he definitely has a voice in my book.

And I've never said Logan Lannister & co were innocent, or good, or OK. Just that Janei wants to raise her kids without 1) fear of murder or assassination in some gruesome way 2) breaking the law. She hasn't asked for any lands or titles or even to go back to the Westerlands. She'd just live out her life in Dorne quietly...IF people let her.
"Quietly" is not what she's being - and the problem the Daynes have is that by not muzzling her, they're tacitly supporting her railing against the Throne.
Had the Daynes just had her be an anonymous wife and mother, the Crown would likely been willing to overlook her existence - instead, she's become A Problem™, to be dealt with.

Yes Wade, congratulations, you are all powerful and unstoppable. The strong can do what they want, Maelys is King, Maelys can do whatever the fuck he wants to whoever he wants and Tully and Arryn and Stark will clap and call it beautiful. Do you think that's news to me? I know very well what you can and will do, what you want to do to House Dayne, and I'm more than ready to take it all on the chin.

That's the King you want to be, good on you and all your lapdogs who think it's so bloody beautiful and brilliant way to be.

We weaklings will survive your reign of terror as best we can, OK.

But then you have to ask yourself - why are your men getting shot? Why are you freaking out over a lone woman's words? Why are you trying to frame her for bullshit crimes to make yourself look better? Why is your Kingdom falling apart even more than your face? How many times will Braavos and Summer Islands clean up your mess so you can feel like the big man in town and kick people who are already down? How many Arryns and Tullys will keep getting shot so Maelys can bully everyone how he wants? Forever, perhaps, but if we burn, you burn with us. All of you.

As if you have the guts to do anything but whine in the OOC.

Allow me to suggest her exile somewhere tropically warm.... like the Northern Periphery.

Could we please not salt up the OOC though? That would be great.

Though I will note that in a setting with ruling dynasties holding power literally for millenia, there desperately should be more of a backlash over eradicating families. That's just not done -- Tywin was kinda thought as a war criminal when he did it. And even then, it's generally considered good form for the king to grant mercy to the female line -- think Elizabeth of York, and how she didn't get shanked like her brothers.

All calm and peaceful on my end. Let's try to get on and have a fun game and not butcher each other needlessly.

Or butcher me needlessly, preferably :p

I think everyone's already calm.

Anyone here a native Spanish speaker? I'm looking for promo images and stills from "Toledo, cruce de destinos" and, if it exists, the show subtitled in English.

This isn't very mature, nor is it the type of thing a mod of this game should be saying. Very impolite and inconsiderate.

Disclaimer: I have completely stopped playing as the Lannisters. I've don't nothing for them, you can even ask Mina. He'll I'd even say ask way if I sent anything to him, but he basically ignores my PM's at this point.

I don't know if you realize this Wade but you're kind of being pompous right now. This game is not Targaryen's and friends run the world. Just because you're the King in game doesn't mean you get to be mean to people in the OOC. Its one thing for everyone to have fun, but it's another to have fun at someone's expense. I'm not talking one person winning and another losing, like you beat me before. I'm talking about you bullying other players as a show of fictional strength. As a mod, this is pretty low. You should have a certain level of responsibility to have a pleasant demeanor as a representative of the administration of the game. I've seen none of that after the first three turns of this game.

Some people I would trust with this. Some I would not.

But going through the player list one by one "You? You're fine to write up your own stuff. You? DON'T YOU DARE" is guaranteed ill will and bad blood all the way around.

And that's as in depth as I am going on the subject.

To expand on this, while my update speed has crawled to a snail's pace and I'm behind on quite a lot of stuff besides I am still writing copious amounts of text for this. Between dealing with OOC shenanigans, clarifying positions in PMs, going back to rein in people who have taken graciously given inches and turned them in to miles, there is a tremendous amount of overhead that you guys ultimately aren't exposed to as a whole.

I would give anything but the fluffiest of fluff events to any of you because inevitably several would inject additional advantages or push the bounds of their portfolio and then that would be a thing. I'm nickel and dimed quite enough already in keeping people's feet on the ground already and exacerbating the situation by delegation of that kind will do nothing to improve things on the mod side.

This isn't very mature, nor is it the type of thing a mod of this game should be saying. Very impolite and inconsiderate.
Please observe the mod warning upstream and knock this shit off.

I'm not saying the Westerosi are necessarily racist per se but it does beggar belief a Blackwood would marry an analogue!African child of some very distant prince and his concubine.

House Tully is willing pay quite a lot to ensure this match comes about.

But aren't they (or were set up by Byz to be) like the old-school Starks? Quite serious and honourable and such. Buying a marriage with a Frey isn't surprising, but the Blackwoods (after all the wealth and power they accumulated last game) would be above it, I think.

There are some things money literally cannot buy. A closer relationship with your lord, a wealthy spouse for a superfluous son, someone not likely to give a toss about your weird religion, and maybe we get a line on some nice bows from the Summer side of the family...

Wait wait wait.

How is this my problem?
