Welp, it looks like Joffrey has escaped into the real world, killed andy50 and taken his place.
 
Do we trust Naerys enough to risk this? She has to realize that Jaime has some serious blackmail on her if they go through this.
Also, we're taking the word of Maggy that the baby wont look like Jaime 2.0, which is very improbable considering Lannister traits seem to be dominant. (is she canonically magical?)

There will be huge consequences either way. I'd rather the possibility of Lannister power over the Iron Throne than the guarantee of Tyrell power over the Iron Throne. This is a case of damned if you do and double-damned if you don't.

And where did the notion arise that Naerys is crazy? I don't have the greatest memory, but I can't recall a single instance where she was anything other than sweet and intelligent.

Well, this is a closed quest, so I can't vote, but is there ANY evidence that the maegi she speaks of is actually a maegi instead of a hack?

Gonna be dangerous if the baby has golden hair.

Is there any evidence she isn't? One would assume, since Naerys isn't an idiot, that she knows whether or not this Maggy is the real deal.

Maybe it's a terrible idea that'll end up biting us in the ass down the road, but even if it is that'll be a fun ride. And if it all works out, we put our son on the Iron Throne, and secure our eventual Handship. Remember, this is the Game of Thrones. If you don't play to win, you just end up dead.

Naerys is by pretty much all accounts the hottest of the hot in Westeros, perhaps Planetos. I don't think that counts as 'everything in sight'.


The risk of anyone else finding out seems minimal, and politically it boosts House Lannister while screwing over House Tyrell.

Really, it seems like the best decision no matter which head you're thinking with.
