1. Wouldn't shieldbreaker rounds mean the shield isn't a factor?
2. You said that sallying was dangerous because they could potentially bury us in troops, but what if we fire the LEF deathstrikes? Would we avoid getting overwhelmed, then?
3. Will they start using respirators after we fire the LEF deathstrikes?
1. shieldbreakers are not absolute and are not as good at piecing conventional armour
2. probably, the LEF deathstrikes will kill a lot but not the billions that would need to die to stop them swamping you. I should remind you hear that the force surrounding Dis outnumbers your entire PDF around five to one
3. no

They are intelligents, just full of hatred.

The two are not mutually exclusive, and it's important to remember that.
They're wasting an entire armada on a man who'll be dead so hard that there won't be a soul left I think the ship sailed on that one and they didn't bring enough stuff so they know that they won't be able to beat us even if they finish their mission.

you are acting like there are not major, material gains that can be claimed from killing, or even better sacrificing the Last True Saint of the Emperor. this is the sort of achievement that creates daemon princes

Just to clarify, @Durin,

1. Will they have psykers on Dominating duty?
2. Psyker recovery from exhaustion - Do they recover ALL their exhaustion after 1 Phase?

Right, altered the plan. Let's overwork Tamia a bit.

If psykers usually recover everything in one phase, then using them for 2phase-rest-2phase-rest is like the best to get maximum mileage from them.

Tamia is now defending morale.
2nd Divination Choir is now helping Ridcully with the void battle.
2nd Pyromancy Choir is now burning daemons alongside Xavier and the 1st.
1st Telepathy Choir is still resting, but if the enemy makes a morale check they'll switch to attacking their morale. I don't think it's particularly likely, but between the Magma Wyrms, the betrayal, the LEF, our artillery, and the daemons we'll kill, it's at least conceivable, so might as well have them on standby just in case.
1st Telekinesis is still resting. If someone has an idea of what to do with them I'm willing to consider it.

I must admit, in spite of their utility and usefulness, I've never particularly liked if-else-then statements in planmaking.

Even if I do use them in the 5-year plans, where they're basically mandatory for optimizing when multiple actions with different probabilities are involved.

[X] Plan Opportune Strike
-[X] Have an even split of regulars and militia hold the outer defences - This is a balance between the other two options .
-[X]Deploy half your elites on the wall and keep half in reserve. - This will leave you with a significant reserve force of elites while reinforcing the walls.
-[X]Deploy all of your anti Titan forces against enemy Titans- This gives you a far better chance of stopping any Titan attack at the cost of risking all of your anti-Titan forces, while half of their Titans have yet to arrive.
-[X] Deploy Aria, Jane, Jacob, Lulana to combat any Angyl attacks- The Angyls are the greatest threat that the Abomination forces have plans to deploy and as such heroes would have the greatest impact against them, and be at the most risk
-[X] reserve three quarters of your Battle Psykers for dealing with Angyls - This makes sure that you do not fully strip your main defences of psyker support.
-[X] keep back half of the Hunters to deal with infiltrators- a balance between the other two options
-[X] Deploy 1 Primaris Execution Squad to Deal with any Angyl attacks

-[X] If the Titans make are making an assualt on the wall, assign Lulana to dispelling or suppress their projectile protection. This supersedes her anti-Angyl role for the duration it proves necessary.
-[X] 1st and 2nd Biomancy Choirs are assigned to buff the Magma Wyrm for its attack
-[X] Ridcully, 1st Divination Choir, Xavier, and 1st Pyromancy Choir are assigned to Scry and Fry, exploiting the chaos of the Magma Wyrm attack to hopefully catch some high value target out of warding as well as punching through.
-[X] 2nd Divination Choir to provide Divinatory Support to the harassment fleet.
-[X] 2nd Telekinetic Choir to create a Telekinetic shield
-[X] Troll Geomancers to strengthen wall
-[X] 1st Daemonology Choir to counter Abomination power use
-[X] 2nd Telepathy Choir to counter Abomination Telepathy usage
-[X] Tamia, 1st Telepathy Choir, and Sirens to dominate the divined targets and cause them to attack, timed to take advantage of and add to the general chaos of the Magma Wyrm attack.
-[X] 2nd Daemonology Choir to help Lulana in dispelling the projectile protections on the attacking Titans if necessary, but otherwise to rest.

-[X] Harass the reinforcement fleet- This will cause some damage to the reinforcement fleet at the cost of some of your surviving light elements

-[X] Lend Jacob the Black Crystal Sword and Tamia the necklace.
-[X] if the Magma Wyrm attack knocks down the shielding of the appropriate area, launch 5% of our Deathstrike Missiles at the enemy psykers.

Decided to put together a plan myself.

@Reynal, I'd like for you to change certain things in your plan.

1. Have the 2nd Telekinetic Choir set up a telekinetic shield instead of attacking angels. It's a more fitting use of the power and suggested by Durin himself.
2. Remove the 2nd Divination Choir from Scry and Fry. It's been said that it would be redundant.
3. Have a choir search for infiltrators. They're going to make a major push for it and we'll be vulnerable during this moment from being distracted (which is why they're making the push.) I highly recommend putting the 2nd Diviners on this job.
4. Have the 1st Telekinetic Choir do something. If you have them doing a telekinetic shield, then I won't mind the 2nd bogging down daemons.
5. Get rid of the "5%" of the last line of your plan. n Steps Ahead means we don't need to pick force compositions as Frederick will pick the optimal amount. Just say that we'll launch Deathstrikes at the psykers if the void shields come down and Frederick will launch the optimal amount.
7. Have the 2nd Pyromancy Choir and 2nd Primaris Execution Force doing something. I would recommend having them kill daemons because with multiple Greater Daemons and one with a Paragon trait, we really don't want to take any chances with them. Less daemons will also mean the traitor action is more successful as the officers will have less psychic protection.
8. Have Trolls reinforce the walls.

--[X] Tamia and 1st Telepathy Choir on countertelepathy.
--[X] 2nd Telepathy Choir to Hunt for Infiltrators.
--[X] Ridcully and 1st Divination Choir to assist Void Battle.
--[X] Sirens to Dominate target Officers selected by Diviners earlier. Time the Dominate to occur at the same time the Magma Wyrm attack happens.
--[X] Trolls to fortify Walls.
--[X] 2nd Telekinetic Choir to defend against Bombardment.
--[X] 1st and 2nd Biomancer Choirs to buff the Magma Wyrms.
--[X] 1st Daemonology Choir on reserve to blunt Angyl Attacks.
--[X] 2nd Daemonology Choir on general Dispelling duty.
--[X] Xavier and 1st Pyromancer Choir on reserve to Fry Abomination Aces attacking the Walls.
--[X] 2nd Divination, 2nd Pyromancer, 1st Telekinetic, 1st Telepath, Tamia to rest.
-[X] Space
--[X] Harass the reinforcement fleet- This will cause some damage to the reinforcement fleet at the cost of some of your surviving light elements
-[X] Other
--[X] Lend Jacob the Black Crystal Sword.
--[X] Fire LEF Deathstrikes on the Abomination Main Army during the Magma Wyrm attack.

What does Combat 58 provide in terms of Combat Bonii anyway? The Black Crystal Sword provides +3C in addition to it's other effects.
Here is my plan, for those who'd like to vote on it.

Relatively reasonable approach to things. The main thing it goes for is that we'd really like to win the Space Battle as hard as possible, and that the Magma Wyrms are a great distraction as any to be used for our psykers to not be focused on the ground battle. Well, one psyker choir, anyway.

It's main thing is that there are 4 more freaking waves (1 arriving right now), so getting rid of them in space is far better than getting rid of them on the ground.

4 waves of mostly crap. Fully half of their Titans and a buttload of their psykers are on the ground right now. Those two factors will give us the most trouble out of all their permanent assets, and we also have daemons to worry about.

And those permanent assets, the Titans and Psykers, are defended by that crap, the chaff.

And this first wave is a mixed force. Elites like Titans and Psykers absolutely need the support of a big disposable army.

Your argument is one of a Space Marine who never deviates from the Codex Astartes. Yes, while Titans and psykers are defended by chaff and yes, they do need the support of armies, the current situation is not one where a standard solution is the best possible one.

Chaff is meant to stop close-range units like Space Marines from rocking up and destroying them. Chaff offers no defence against Deathstrikes and artillery, which requires void shields to withstand or the destruction of the artillery batteries. Our batteries are behind theatre shields, so we don't have to worry about the latter. As for their shields, the ones on the Titans are strong but not strong enough to withstand focused Dark Age artillery fire without their enchantments. Take the enchantments away and the Titans will fall, chaff or no. Similarly, if the void shields protecting the psykers are let down for even a moment, no amount of guardsmen will be enough to stop a few well-aimed deathstrikes from levelling their position.

The only way chaff is relevant to the protection of Titans is if our artillery were under threat or if they have psychic enchantments up. The only way chaff is relevant to the protection of psykers is if our artillery were under threat or their void shields are up. Granted, the Magma Wyrms may not take out their void shields, but if so we'll take out their chaff with LEF, artillery, and psykers without fear of their Titans and sally to their position.
