[x] Sealed Away. The Four cooperate long enough to seal Malice away. Chaos Gods start nudging large quantities of Orks and similar threats towards you in 5 Turns. Xenos polities have a far higher chance of becoming hostile and/or Chaos corrupted.

[X] Upgraded Malice. While Malice grows stronger, he is merely a peer to the Four, as he has concern over having his existence overtaken by the Darkness he's calling upon. Chaos Four become Chaos Five, with all that implies.

Whats one more set of backstabbing enemies who stab each other often?

I think why most people didn't have problems with the crystals is that, well, the concept-type empowering McGuffin is not really unique to KH.

This for me is the hard mode. Want the hard mode. Makes it the most interesting.

One more full chaos god just means that there's another target. Since our nation is called The Bastion then at some point we will be outnumbered and completely surrounded. We'll have them right where we want them. As an added bonus we won't be able to miss anyone accuracy wise.

Ideally I want the sealing option, but 5 chaos gods also works and keeps the feet of this quest firmly (?) planted in 40k.
Exactly first option is easiest, 2nd will allow chaos to enhanced ungodly level, it is hard option, sealed should have been a normal option, i think others rejected it due to threat of invasions but it also could have allowed us to expand further, now we definitely made sure Choas will reign supreme in the end.

Heil Chaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In response to achieving arcologies:

The thing is, we can already make arcologies with our current tech, thanks to our incredibly efficient, high-yield power generation tech and our replicator tech. For some inexplicable reason, our replicators can't make good food (which is absurd, considering that we reverse-engineered our replicators from Star Trek replicators, which make good food all the time)--it shouldn't be a hard problem to address. Once we do that, we have everything we need. Generators produce energy in massive quantities. Replicators make quality food in an incredibly space-efficient manner. Lots of recycling. Don't just build up, build down--underground.

Okay, question, @ilbgar123 : why is this issue we're voting on even coming up at all? Why does there need to be a fifth Chaos God at all? And why is the "Sealed Away" option coupled with "also, Chaos send regular invasion against you"? That doesn't make sense.

Because Malal was originally going to be the final boss with Darkness, people started to get angry, so this kind of came up.

Sure, but what he comes up with could be something other than Heartless. Could be his own unique, original horror that we'll end up dealing with rather than the Heartless.
As I understand it, thats not how it works. You start messing with Darkness, you open the gate for a Heartless invasion, and your universe is kaput.
First off, the Chaos Gods don't strictly have to make them themselves. A Chaos psyker who knows how to make crystals could use their own power, just like any of our psykers do. They would instead just make crystals that resonated with the domains of their respective gods, likely using combinations of such crystals for larger/stronger effects.
Second, even if the Chaos Gods invested power to make crystals themselves, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad investment if they could find uses for them that would net a return on that investment.
I am aware, I did say little use, not none at all.
Is this about KH? I feel like if it was crossed over with something more popular people wouldn't care.
I would, and many others probably would too.
Also, immortal multiverse eating self replicating monsters.

Yeah, Im not sure that I will stick around if the crossover continues. I have joined this quest to uplift 40k and inject some sanity into it, not... this.
My SoD has been pretty much on its last legs lately anyway .

No?

Malice is explicitly anti-Chaos. He's anti-anything, yeah, but above all else he is anti-Chaos, and would genuinely prefer us to win above Chaos. The GM actually called it a Xanatos plot at one point, if he wins Chaos loses, and he loses then he's distracted Chaos long enough for us to win and make CHaos lose.

The second one where it becomes the Chaos 5 has Chaos as a whole and our enemies at it's weakest. That option specifically has Chaos distracted trying to fight off Malice enough that they can't afford to spend the time to fight us.

Note what the GM said when I asked if the whole Chaos 5 thing meant that Malice would ever work with Chaos or make significant moves against anyone else such as us.

Malice would still be focused on them, yes.

This is why Sealed Away has Chaos sending Ork's and Xeno's at us, with them having taken care of Malice they can actually put any amount of effort at all into messing with us.

Unless things go terribly wrong it's the easiest option for thriving as a Polity and avoiding Chaos.

[] Keep Malice as End Boss. Malice will continue to amass power and begin taking over the Eye/Maelstrom. Potential end-game alliance of all other factions against him. Potential for large outbreaks of Heartless across galaxy from Malice cults, which will act like a hybrid of Daemon Incursions and Ork attacks.

[X] Upgraded Malice

I'd want malice to stay as the endboss. A counter weight to our massive successes and one that would require us to win fully in this uplift or fall even harder than canon.

It's not Kingdom heart tales couldn't fit right in 40k with some serial numbers filed off like many many people have said.

It's not like our development isn't twined with the cross and losing all of it would basically unravel our polity. And it's not like fighting it wasn't one of the strongest foundational points of our alliance.

Where we got to chose between facing a greater evil between people who would otherwise be our enemies for ever due to failures or all sides or to prove our bonfides and make the single greatest stand to peace and development in the history of 40k that basically created the nature of Bastions endgame.

Science and cultural victory and peace through superior psy fire power.

This can work and was working. Just like the Bastion.

I like this one the most.
