Wow, that's a really good quest!

[X]Don't just stand there gaping like an idiot, introductions are in order!
-[X] It's great to see you again! You know, I was just telling my cousin about you 3 minutes ago.

My original intention was to sulk because my last vote didn't go through, but my mom told me to play nice with the other kids.

Update 125 - Ordinary Life, part 4
Quickly taking an open seat so that you don't cause a disturbance and so the bus can continue on its way, you turn to your cousin. "Kyouko, this is my friend Kurumu that I was just telling you about."
"You didn't tell me she was so buxom," Kyouko growls under her breath.
Turning with a smile to your bluenette friend, you gesture towards Kyouko. "Kurumu, this is my cousin Kyouko. She's kind of like an older sister." 'And doesn't know about monsters,' you silently mouth, desperately hoping that the two Succubi will get the message.
"Although if that's because it's not something you regularly think about, then I guess that's alright."
The woman next to Kurumu offers a slight bow, smiling graciously. "My name is Ageha Kurono, and I'm Kurumu's mother. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you."

Kyouko nods, with an expression like she's quietly reminding herself to chill out. "Likewise." She opens her mouth to say something else, when the both of you notice Kurumu pulling out a notepad and scribbling furiously on it. A moment later, Kurumu shows you her message, the handwriting a little messy in her excitement:

IT'S SO GREAT TO SEE YOU TSUKUNE!

You know she really thinks that, because she made a point to underline it more than five times.

How've you been?! I like your outfit, casual really suits you! Not that you don't look cute in your uniform, too, but you know what I mean, right?! Oh, if I'd known we were going to meet like this I would've baked some cookies ahead of time...

You can't help but laugh at that last part. "It's great to see you, too, Kurumu. Are you feeling any better after that chemistry accident at the end of the school year?"

You glance meaningfully at her scarf, and Kurumu appears to quickly realize what you mean. A moment's scribbling later, and another happy response comes your way:

Actually, I've got an appointment with a doctor later today, and depending on how it goes... I might be able to take these bandages off and speak normally again today!

That's a pleasant surprise, and you let her know that you're happy to hear it. Ms. Kurono, for her part, seems content to watch quietly as you chat with her daughter for a bit. Kyouko's watching, too, but it's hard for even you to read what she's thinking right now.

So what are you up to, Tsukune?

Listlessly moping around the house for the last month or so, you think but do not say. "Well, Kyouko and I were going to see a magic show."

Kurumu's eyes widen in interest, before silently turning to her mother with a hopeful expression. Ms. Kurono makes a show of contemplatively checking her watch. "Well.... we do have a few hours before your appointment, so I suppose it would be okay if you went along."

Kurumu's visibly fighting not to cheer, before her mother concludes, "If the Aono family don't have an objection."

Well, you certainly don't have a problem with it. Being that Kyouko's been entrusted by your parents with chaperone power, though, it's up to her.

Honestly, you can tell that Kyouko had probably planned for this to just be a day for the two of you, and part of you feels a little bad about the way things seem to be turning out. But the two of you can still go do something else another day in the rest of summer break, right?

You can see that Kyouko's kind of annoyed, but she's doing a great job of hiding it from anyone who doesn't know her as well as you do. After a few moments of being subjected to yours and Kurumu's hopeful gazes, however, her resistance crumbles and she gives in with a sigh. "Well, since it's okay with Ms. Kurono, then I guess it's okay with me."

Great! Aaaand now Kurumu's hugging you exuberantly and while you don't have a problem with that there are a couple of things that are hard to ignore, and Kyouko's eyeing the two of you and you really don't know what's going through her head right now.

_____________________________

After getting off the bus, Ms. Kurono departs to do some other errands, leaving Kurumu with you and your cousin.

"I'm sorry for prying," Kyouko suddenly asks, "but you said there was some kind of chemistry accident toward the end of school?"

You share a glance with Kurumu, before realizing that you may have already said more than was really needed. "I wasn't actually in that class when it happened," you 'explain', "so I don't know the details."

Kyouko hmms, but ultimately says nothing. Eventually, she brings you all to a small theater. On the sign is an advertisement for the magic show, apparently being conducted by a troupe calling themselves The Cult.

Kurumu reaches for her purse to pay for her own ticket, before Kyouko stops her. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it. You two just go ahead and get some seats."

Beaming, Kurumu drags you by the arm into the theater. The audience isn't completely packed, but it's still reasonably filled.

Judging by the hushed whispers you can hear throughout the auditorium, the presentation will apparently begin shortly.

[]Kurumu seems to have something on her mind, but also doesn't seem to know whether she wants to bring it up right now.
[]Kyouko's already returned? Must've been a pretty short line.

Something something, question about Cousin?
