@Enjou
  1. I would really like if you put a Dilomatic Relations with the Quartok in. The last one failed so it may need a DD...
  2. For Jane to keep her skill she should do one Hunt action per turn. Would you put one in?
  3. Your plan puts the first 2 of needed 12 Faning actions in. That leaves 10 to cover the next 4 turns from wich 2 have us campaign. Next turn will probaly come cheating for research into the mix. It is not yet dire to put another Fanning action in but I would feel saver.
  4. If I read the sheet correctly 6 betas will undergo the trils this turn. A mentoring action would be worthwile for that, wouldn't it?

@Durin - when updating opinion levels of trust worlds for last turn you forgot to include +1 relationship with Asgard we got from spending time with Sigurd.

[X] Plan Enjou T84

Putting Ridcully on Military Assistance, spying on gods, and making the civil war in Tugozak's realm hotter.
Military Assistance isn't needed. The Orks we are fighting this turn are some of the weakest and we have a great many other things for Ridcully to be doing.

In the interests of nurturing the next generation I would like to put one of these into Ophelia. She is also on campaign and is likely to be our next heroic character.

the Military Assistance is not there to reduce the lost in the army? or to speed the process? since we are literally speeding running a war (and even with our generals that is still ridiculous)
Fanning the flames speeds up and reduces casualties of the next war, which is likely to be substantially worse than the current one.
Making an Order improves our action economy.
Researching frequencies improves our ability to fight Super Orks.
Divination, at gods or other targets, gives us important information.

Military Assistance is a very low priority benefit compared to the other stuff Ridcully needs to do.

Also military assistance gives a reroll for the campaign. Which is important for the fact that we have so many important characters on campaign.

Military assistance also helps the other half of the Trust's forces IIRC. The ones dealing with the still living Overlord.

With our generals, yes, but as we are leading from the front with our demigod martial...

Also, wrt the question as to how absurd Jane's combat skill is: better than the vast majority of space marines. Of 30 who had been on a 300 year campaign, 1 had higher.

Also military assistance gives a reroll for the campaign. Which is important for the fact that we have so many important characters on campaign.
Evidence?
Even if it is true the odds of us actually needing a reroll are 1/100. Between all our many bonuses and many OP characters and the terrible terrible damage we inflicted last turn anything but a Natural 1 is a solid victory.

Evidence?
Even if true it isn't out concern. We pledged that Ridcully would intensify the civil war. Not that he would waste time watching Surt curbstomp an overlord.

Logic presumably.

Ridcully's assistance was what allowed us to kill Gortog

Double Down: Military Assistance: Twice- In the coming years the Imperial Trust military will be acting very aggressive and attempting to take Ork Worlds as fast as possible. This will result in greater risks then are preferred. If High Grandmaster Ridcully provides his divinatory assistance these risks will be greatly reduced.

Time: 1 year (must be taken by Ridcully)
Chance of Success: 30%

Cost: 3,800,000 Thrones
Reward: re-rolls available for current campaign for next two years

Complete
Year One roll d100=27+45(control)+60(Paragon Diviner)+20(double down)=152: Critical Success
Year four roll d100=30+45(control)+60(Paragon Diviner)+20(double down)=155: Critical Success

High Grandmaster Ridcully spent two years providing military assistance tot he current campaigns. This assistance took a variety of forms, ranging from providing insight into Ork Battle Plans and the timing of reinforcements to locating weakness in defences and Space Hulks. His aid was a major factor in the defence of Cahernanoorane where the main army of Kazag the Mighty was destroyed and the Overlord slain by a well placed Super-Elite Operative.

And Xavier's deployment let him go Ash Hound and clear out incredibly well forified positions saving millions of men
Deploy: Times four- Currently a major portion of Avernus' Battle Psykers have been deployed to assist in the current campaign. While Master Zhukov can easily lead them your Grandmaster Psykers are powerful forces on the battlefield and their deployment could have a major effect.

Time: 1 year
Chance of Success: 100%

Cost: Free
Reward: Assist campaign for years where this is selected

Complete
year two roll d100=69
year three roll d100=60
year four roll d100=53
year five roll d100=12

For the last four years Grandmaster Xavier has been on the front lines leading his Battle Psykers and carrying out his own operations. He has had a major impact in the war, with his ability to devastate even well fortified positions and eliminate Ork Warlords saving millions of lives and months of time. He has often worked with his daughter Ophelia in this operations, and the sheer destruction that the two can create when working together is impressive. However in his last operation he was seriously wounded, preventing him from taking to the field or overseeing a project for a year while he recovers.

Presumably we'd have taken significantly higher navel losses (due to not knowing weaknesses in the Hulks or where they were) and Ground losses again due to not knowing force composition, defence weaknesses, leader locations and having to assault heavily fortified positions, and would be dealing with 2 Overlords rather than one.

It literally says rerolls for the campaign in the reward for taking military assistance.

I'd like to have spying done before/during the Waaagh frequencies action, as there's some potential synergy there.

Otherwise I agree with some other people that I'd like to see more Fanning the Flames than military assistance, given just how resoundingly we beat them down last turn.

I'm okay with Xavier continuing the campaign, but I'd like it if you would consider having him start a warding order—this current campaign is projected to take a full fourteen years after all.

For wildlife examination I'll love to see the Lancer Bird checked out—it's the thing that unerringly divebombs camo crocs at night. Otherwise we could see if Durin would be amenable to having a wildlife survey of where the underwater tracks to the islands would go through.

Also, even if we're mostly away on campaign, it might be possible to do the spend time with Jane's son anyway with a malus. Given the hint that he'd be interested in that and the possible importance this kid could have in the future I'd say it's a worthwhile investment.

If we're doing birds I'd rather do the vector birds from Duat.

Still at this point... come on guys lets just do the ****ing nugs.

We are fighting in largest scale conflict Trust ever participated against wastly more numerous enemy in fortified positions while trying to finish as quickly as possible, it's by no means an easy curb stomp you are imagining and while deafeat is almost impossible some bad rolls could easily see our forces badly mauled and current campaign dragging on, meaning that harrasment campaign agains Tugozak's Domain will be both delayed and more difficult.

The trade off here is that fanning the flames does damage to a far stronger potential enemy, who we will probably be engaging with shortly after the Orks rise.

Alternatively, we are attracting the ire of a faction that will otherwise go grind itself to death against some tombworld or endless daemons.

I doubt our relationship will suffer if we don't spend time with her, though I agree we should congratulate her on her promotion.
Not overly but if you remember the time Durin got angry because we kept spending all of Fredericks 4 slot on Spent Time with (Syr) and told us that it only has a 1% chance to archive anything (I beliefe in All-Caps) and made it clear that we only need one such action per 10 years to keep the relationship on good terms.

I can't find it but it was after we got Thadeus.
