[X] Have High Grandmaster Ridcully spend some time increasing the intensity of civil war in Tugozak's Domain- increases success chance of other attacks, inflicts medium to-major damage, increases strength of surviving Orks, ties up half of High Grandmaster Ridcully's actions for extended periods of time
That really worth his time?
We have so, so much to do with the Telepathica and more civil war also means stronger bosses for the Orks.

@Enjou can you change ridicule action? Have him help conquer the ork dominions. Or look out for a attack. When we have so many forces away these is the perfect time for someone to attack us.

I think so, though not all of his time since we'll need him to divine other things. Tugozak's realm needs to be weakened, because his realm is the strongest of the Ork Domains in our local area. The weaker Tugozak is by the time Gork and Mork go into full gear, the better off we'll be.

The Ridcully action only puts half his time on Tugozak's domain. The rest I intend to have him spending doing divining for the other Ork domains, looking out for attacks, or other useful things.

We need him for the rune work. Or to help finding orders to fight demons, divine, warding, and etc. Or divining attacks. Or doing actions with eldar hopefully.

1. Tamia and Xavier can handle rune work or founding most orders we'd want.
2. Again, the option leaves half his time for other things we need him for.
My main want is to start the resonance research to find Gork and Mork's signature.

Its a long action with many benefits, so I kinda want to start it.

Still...

It's the unfortunate case of having way too much to do and not enough time to do it. But IMO if we've managed to do enough damage to Tugozak's domain that should hopefully buy us a bit of breathing room when the green shitstorm starts, and Ridcully will need something to do then anyways - and it'll probably be easier for him to find their signatures when they're active as well.

[X] Plan Fast Conquest

Having Ridcully boost the civil war synergizes well with the concerted Trust assault on his domain. Even if the individual orks are stronger, the horde will be weak enough for the task force to beat down. Doesn't matter how big the warboss is if his boyz are all runty feral boyz.

Suggested modifications:

Reverse-Engineer Exterminatus Weaponry and then use stealth ships to use as many as possible on Tugozak's Domain- This would take at least a decade of Archmagos Tranth time and require a good deal of high quality materials, if successful it will reveal a great deal about the Imperial Trust capabilities, if successful it will inflict massive damage on Tugozak's Domain and render many worlds uninhabitable.
Change this to: Reverse-Engineer Exterminatus Weaponry but do not deploy them.

While we do need to get this capability, particularly if battlemoons become a thing, we don't yet know if it is warranted. It is extremely unlikely that Ork naval capabilities will improve enough to prevent us either sneaking or smashing through their orbital defences to exterminatus their worlds.

Have High Grandmaster Ridcully spend some time increasing the intensity of civil war in Tugozak's Domain- increases success chance of other attacks, inflicts medium to-major damage, increases strength of surviving Orks, ties up half of High Grandmaster Ridcully's actions for extended periods of time
Strongly opposed to this. We need Ridcully a) Divining more about the Orks-to-come and b) Researching anti Ork frequencies. Plus we want him either aiding our campaigns or setting up an Order to do it for him. Plus we want him helping research the Runes.
Frankly we have better things for him to be doing.
This becomes even more the case if you keep the 'deploy exterminatus immediately' option.

@Durin, will our characters have a greater chance of dying to Avernus if we assign Ridcully to help with the Orks?
mmmm.

Depends if he does the scanning for threats to our characters automatically I suppose which he seems to do independent of actions like when he pulled Thaddeus out of the way of a Magma Wyrm...

Still while he is here @Durin
1. Does Lin have any opinions on any of the subjects like
1i. Exterminatus
1ii. Xenos contact
1iii. Sirens
Given the new circumstances
2. Is the idea of partially feeding the Cultists to the Sirens more palatable to the council?
3. Would the Sirens accept it?

I wonder how many groups will believe what we tell them, no-one else knows about our divination and how OP it is. If the eldar don't know already we will put them on the right track if they can sense the general feeling of galactic threat, no idea how the necrons will react but I doubt they take much stock in warp-craft. Lin can tell the Dragons Nest authorities in person so his truth aura should make them pay attention but to the other human polities we tell we are just a random group of high tech trigger happy humans who fell out of the warp not long ago and who goes OTT on orks and keep ranting about how the ork gods are going to kill us all. Gonna be an interesting way to officially introduce ourselves to the locals that's for sure.
