I'm not saying rushing things is bad but I will remind you guys you don't have to rush things. Because you do have a habit of rushing some things the moment you can.
OTOH, rushing to Viserys after Aemma's Death worked extremely well for us... and honestly this seems the kind of situation in which talking with Orwylle immediately would have a greater effect on him...

And it just feels right to talk with Otto and secure Alicent's future just before our romantic escapade...

This one's good - Alicent can tutor Rhaenyras kids. Even more influence for the Hightowers.

Really unsure about the plan. I'd like to talk to Otto about both things really, but we do also badly need to relax.

Can we afford to sneak out and explore? Don't we need to be studying law soon to keep up with the tracker?

Edit: looking back - on Dragonstone we'll have to study law, and I believe the turn after that swordsmanship. Also on Dragonstone we'll definitely spend time relaxing with Alicent, but we need to do even more relaxing.

Johanna is the only option marked red in the winning plan but I'm sure talking to Orwyle and Otto are also possible stressors.

So. The point of confessing (to no one in particular, so long as they're trustworthy) that we broke our oath to Orwyle is to get the guilt off our chest. Because if we don't, that sour little worm is going to fester, lay eggs, and otherwise ruin our vibes to the tune of Stress gain over time.

The advantage of this approach is that we don't have to apologize to Orwyle right away. Our confessor could *advise* us to do so, and we could do that, eventually. Perhaps after having been away on our island for a few months.

It also frees up our options for who to talk to. Alicent's the obvious friendly ear; Gwayne's on-point for being the "oaths *uber alles*" guy, but since he's that guy he'd probably just tut-tut at us; Otto's a surprising pick, since of all the people we could finger Daemon to, he's the one most likely to believe us given his priors. He also isn't a exactly a slouch at intrigue himself, though not a patch on our uncle.

This is my view of the different choices.

The Cloistered Order of the Maiden's Grace is the conventional choice for a noble woman, which may make it easier to convince Otto to let Alicent go. On the other hand, it is a choice that Alicent herself will not be comfortable staying at.

The Order of the Crone lets Alicent be at a monastery that is close to her family and also provides her education on topics other than the faith, which would make her good for tutoring our children.

Lasty the House of the Stalwart Maiden would have Alicent preaching to travelers in the Vale. She would herself enjoy doing so and it would have her working a lot with teaching the common folk and helping the poor.

I strongly prefer the Stalwart Maiden not only because I think Alicent would like going there the most, but also because she could provide us a perspective that we are currently more or less entirely blind to. That of the common folk. This also fits her role as spiritual advisor to us personally a lot more than that of a teacher to our children.

As much as I like the monastery of the crone and I do like it a lot the perspective of how the average person lives is extremely valuable and will be difficult to get anywhere else. Plus it's not like Alicent can't study different topics she enjoys while in the Stalwart monastery or afterwards. I also feel it would do her some good to have a broader view of the world that isn't the ridge understanding of things she's had until now.

This is a particularly important perspective to provide to our Rhaenyra, who is quite out of touch to the point where she hasn't even snuck out into King's Landing since the quest began.

I wanna go for both with Otto so he can immediately start intrigue to discover Daemons involvement. Orwyle isn't likely to believe us immediately, but perhaps we can settle him enough to work well for Johanna.

Similarly, I'm doubling down on blue options because I expect we'll get a lot more stress than just from Johanna.

We're at 60 out of a 100 on the stress tracker, so we very badly need to start getting it down.

Edit: whoops, someone already made a plan.

If there is a a sliding scale for convincing Otto though, I feel like Stalwart Maiden would be the most difficult sell of the three options.

The other two talk of how prestigious they are and how often the attendees are sought out as tutors and advisors.

Comparatively The Stalwart Maiden is a poorer institute that has it's Septas go on the streets and feed the poor. A much farther drop down for a daughter of the Hightowers.

This is identical to @Temes1066 's "Plan: We need to talk" except that it formats the Otto line item differently and doesn't include personal heraldry. Just for the record.

Yeah definitely, it's kinda why I think Rhaenyra should eventually ask for a job as part of the city guard. She will get to see every day life and how the laws she's studying work in the real world not just on paper. Even so being a princess means that her rank will get in the way of her interactions but Alicent who is a daughter of a second son in monastery won't have that obstacle.

In the same vein, I think Stalwart Maiden will help Alicent to be a more active and experienced political actor that can be with Rhaenyra not only as a dear companion but a trusted Ally.

Jaehaerys reign were greatly propped up by the effort and help that Queen Alysanne and Septon Barth provided. Queen Alisanne wisdom and women's court together with Septon Barth lowborn experience and wide breath of knowledge are the core of all of Jaehaerys most lauded achievement from Law, Diplomacy, and Economy.

We as a Warrior Queen may not have the political or timely opportunity to hold our own Women's court or getting to know the state and welfare of our people. This is where Septa Alicent of Stalwart Maiden came in. She can take the duty Queen consort does where our official male consort may not be able to. Septa Alicent with her experience of travel and living among smallfolk will be more easily appproachable by smallfolk and be their advocate in the court.

Last but certainly not least. A more worldly Alicent that is advocate of the people of the Seven Kingdom is the natural way to have her eventually be our equal and companion in public eye.

At the end of that way stand, the first woman Hand of the Queen, Septa Alicent of Stalwart Maiden beside Queen Rhaenyra I with her head high, with a smile for she have both her duty and her heart's desire. The most trusted and dearest of Rhaenyra's companion.

Why do we need to talk to Martyn Hightower?

I am sure, we can do that when we return to King's Landing but right now we need to tell Otto about what Daemon did.

Not super into going from intrigue talk with Daemon, to intrigue talk with Otto.

Not to mention, it would be half-admitting fault to assassinating the Maesters ourselves and would put Otto in a terrible mood for Alicent talks.

See the conversation going something like

"I didn't expect him to kill the Maesters!"

"Then what did you expect him to do when you broke your oath to Maester Orwyle Princess?"

-[X] [Conversation] Speak with Martyn Hightower
-[X] [Action] Sneak out and Explore the City
-[X] [Action] Decide What to Do With Your Tourney Winnings
-[X] [No Cost Action] Design Personal Heraldry

After this phase we are heading off on a relaxation maxing vacation with Alicent, so I feel we're going to be able to rectify and recover a great deal of stress next phase. I'm fairly convinced that letting things rest for a bit on Orwyle may be wise, and we have just created a massive new institution and we should be doing what we can before we go to Dragonstone, and it also gives us a thing to do to not think about the dead maesters.

So main project is the Royal Toll Authority, knowing our newest player in our project is good, and frankly is likely already our ally since the Hightowers like us with only Otto being confused on how useful we are to him. So we need to learn about Martyn, and the Isembard action with the Tourney Winnings feels like a small synergy and both give us something to mechanically do with the coin in hands. With exploring the city as an additional synergy I feel we may be able to deduce a potent and needed project that we can get started on that will help us socially.

After that is mostly the sort of required actions, we need Otto to not try and convive a suitor for Alicent especially while we are away at the very least, and since we've inadvertently made things harder on Johanna and she specifically requested we stay we should listen to her. (Also exposure to Aelora could eventually be helpful in ceasing this phobia of her.)

Also we really should try and understand our home outside the Red Keep just in general, especially if we do select the Stalwart Maiden option for Alicent's chosen Monastery.

You missed your X in the bracket here.

Edit:
Why do we need to talk to Martyn Hightower?

He is the most powerful person in our Institution after ourself, and we're going on Vacation as its beginning to start, so talking with him to both get his measure, and nudge him a bit towards our interests and intent for the Royal Toll Authority just seems potent. He is likely to be amicable given our seemingly strong allegiance with the High Towers and very unlikely to be trash in this position, but he is still an unknown, one that his successes and failures show through to us.

I think that Mysaria would work really well for the "Voice and Perspective of the Smallfolk", so no problem in having Alicent hoing for the Crone monastery...

Regardless of which monastery she chooses, I'm pretty sure we're gonna want to place her in King's Landing.

Helping her get a strong foundation of knowledge at the Crone monastery will make her more capable of running any kind of task we end up giving her.

If we want to set her up in a King's Landing Sept built by RTA funds, I trust the Crone more than the Maiden to teach her. Because the experience with smallfolk will be gained over time.

While I agree with this, Mysaria is cloak and dagger person. If we need to do reform we need advocate that can bring the idea to the light and Stalwart Maiden Septa Alicent is in the right alley for that.

Also this path offer Alicent a pathway to become Hand of the Queen and I'd like for Rhaenyra to have a woman Hand.

How would the Crone not be better for grooming Alicent to become Hand? It's explicitly the one that teaches a broad range of topics and skills, not focusing as much on the Faith.
