Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

It's bashing yes, but I am not sure that's as much of a downside. Even assuming it has stamina 10, that's 10 soak dice against at minimum 9 damage dice, and at maximum something like 26 damage dice. On the other hand, at least as I understand it, hunter's bolt rolls 5 agg damage dice, which is fixed, and doesn't benefit from an attack roll spillover (unless I am badly misunderstanding, in which case, sorry). Assuming the denarian has no magical enchantments that allow them to soak agg, that's still not a lot of damage against something that almost certainly has bonus health levels.
I thunk Hunter's Bolt has 5 base damage and you add additional successes over 1, like you would for a gun?

Sorry if that's not how ranged weapons work, I haven't looked it up in a while?

This guy won a shape shifting contest with a god damned Naagoloshi.
Doesn't he have a type advantage against those?

Well, it seems I was very wrong:
That is how it works yeah, it has a damage rating of 5 which means it adds 5 to the bonus successes from accuracy. After all Lydia can hit someone in the eye with it as easily as she can with a gun.

Yeah, in this case, definitely going with Hunter's bolt. Point blank 14+ agg damage dice is something that might just one-shot the denarian.

@Yog, @Ivar, you've got a bad bracket in the second line of your votes.

I have to wonder what these denarians are thinking. Molly is an E4 celestial exalt who spent on average ~1/3 of all her exp on combat charms. You don't casually taunt an E4 celestial exalt with a serious dedication to combat. Like, Uriel knows what exalted are. Do denarians have amnesia? Was this classified information they were not privy to before their fall? Is the denarian host this stupid? I can imagine their Fallen frantically screaming into their ear about "you do not taunt the exalted until you mote tapped them!" or something like this. Frankly, I expected a bit more caution.

It's unlikely, but Uriel may only know because God told him about them once they became relevant in this new Age.

Can't be - Uriel was the one to setup the release of Molly's exaltation in the first place. And Thorned Namshiel allegedly knew at least three Infernals. And then there's the Solar Pharaoh which should have happened within denarian lifetimes. I understand that denarians are tortured supremely arrogant demons. But come on! What, did no one before Molly purchase a spirit killer or something?

No he very specifically doesn't. Shagnasty calls him out for not being a proper medicine man, able to use blessed magic to exploit his oaths against him. To which LtW replies "I'm not going to banish you, I'm going to kick your ass up between your ears". Which he then does, by just being better.

The Fallen may not really value this host that high and generally trust that they're immune to personal consequences.

It's entirely possible they also have some more tricks ready and view needing to train a new hairless ape as worth keeping us here long enough to catch as many exalts as possible in them.

He almost blew away Azhi in round one, and it would surprise me if the goal here is to finish him off at minimum.

Her Soak is 13 5 from stam 5 from Impervious Skin of Stone Meditation 3 Steel skin just one last enhancement
Marble Flesh: With a thought you can harden your flesh to living stone, potentially shrugging off even the more grievous of wounds. Make a willpower roll (Difficulty 6). If you succeed you gain +4 Soak against all damage for a scene

If it's just a roll, literally no reason not to.
