[X] A small stack of driftwood that looks to have once been destined to be more wall supports. It is all untrimmed, leaving it in interesting shapes that could be fun to work with. (Charmcrafting material, Salt 9)

We must make a cooking implement for our immortal chief friend.

God I love ZK. Hope he and Brother Crab get a rematch some day.

[] The Crab has left behind a pair of molts, leaving two fully intact shells that would be useful in any number of projects. (Charmcrafting Material, Ocean 6)
Ocean seems to be a strong and interesting Anam because is the Ocean, and that is known for not being easily conquered or controled with its depth and the ferocity in their waves. Calling out for the strength of the ocean seems interesting for a Warrior, Defender or Traveller charm.

Salt is also interesting in other ways. It can be used to make "cured meat" by extracting all moisture, it can also be used to ward away evil spirits or protect the mind of those who are bewitched. I can see it for a Monk, Scholar, Sage or Traveller charm by itself.

It also reminds me of a Genshin Impact character that made a ruler that could turn the surrounding area into salt by sticking it into the ground. So maybe we could take that idea somehow.

Besides Woodworking is one of our highest stats.

We much make a cooking implement for our immortal chief friend.

It's been a while since we've seen Ming Hui, but he's a fun character; I'd certainly approve of that use of this bounty.

Salt preserves and purifies. It wards against evil spirits, and has a whole bunch of things attached to it.

Also 9>6 hehehehe

I liked Brother Crab, I hope he has good fortune on his travels!

This is why I like Xianxia as a Genre.

Sure, sometimes you get Evil Overlords trying to Open up the Hells to further their way up the ladder to heaven, but other times you get an oddly determined Crab who wants to spar and won't let you past until you do. . .

I really want to see what this could do when turned into a cooking utensil. Also sad that the crab didn't join Zhuan Kun on his journey now. I already miss Brother Crab. 🦀

I want to see if we could find a material with Thirst Anam to create a weapon that sucks the moisture out of someone.

Salt has a lot of fun sides to it (purification, desiccation, etc) and wood is something we have a ton of skill in working

Also, that was a hilarious interaction, Top Marks Ves XD

Needs a major rally but eccentric epaulettes or some sort of ocean noise dream catcher could be fun. When you're living underground some sort of environmental conditioning to make a room feel like it's getting fresh ocean breezes could also be nice. A small crab charm for the bathroom or a meditation room coupled with SEG could help us recall fond memories of the beach.

Right, Ni's comments cements it. The spirits were warning us that we're heading into a danger zone. The new destination is going to be some flavor of bad.

I'm thinking we could make a charm for a cooking cultivator using this. Maybe some kind of dry aging box for meat. Self seasoning utensils.

Although I am interested in driftwood for food preservation, we could use the ocean anam as a gift for Zhuan Kun. And what better gift than one that allows him to grow in strength: Weighted clothing. By using the metaphoric weight of the ocean on top of the person which grows as you can go deeper, we can make adjustable weighted set of clothes similar to those used in Hunter x Hunter and Dragon Ball to better train his strength.

Question: Did the charm battle in Zhaun Kun's city ever get resolved? Did we beat the Jin? I remember it starting, but then it was interrupted by Daiyu's date to the theatre.
