Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Can we have our Sorcerers set up some form of Mana Manipulation ritual to recharge his Gnosis from Sanctuary's Leylines?

They can, but he can only take in so much before he needs to rest even so

If you don't want to do hard numbers that's fine, I'm just trying to determine if he's working in the range of "I'm banning 15% of the continent today, guess which part" or if he'd be chasing people with a parking lot sized death bubble.

His footprint it always 300 miles, he can just choose where within the bounds of the Amazon forest that is.

[X] You will handle the back-ups, they are the ones likely to have vampiric guards, Tiffany can run rings around the half-bloods present there

For now, will have to think more later. Maybe also provide some bodyguards for Tiffany?

Either poor animals aren't considered mortal. Or any non vegan is going to be in trouble.
Animals and other non sapient are probably not counted as mortals. They don't have the double soul structureifI recall correctly.

On the other hand, as an unintended consequence, this might just have eradicated tetanus in the area of effect. It's a bacterial disease which targets humans, and which is typically found in the soil. This might not affect all bacteria, but ones found in the soil? I expect to be decomposed.

I just hope that this doesn't affect bacteria already inside human body, or almost any bacterial disease might become fatal, as hostile bacteria inside the body turn into soil.

Yes while he can cover any of that territory he cannot be invested in all of it. He is mostly focused on protecting the Fortress right now.
I seem to have missed or misinterpreted something somewhere, and now I'm confused.

Malko dying in front of us, and we invite him to be reborn in Sanctuary. He can't fully let go of the land, and so there's a temporary portal between part of our of our soul and the Amazon as he's stretched across them. He's taking a while to be reborn, and so the hole's going to be around for the duration. Hence the need for a fortress. We build a grand fortress with a dominant spirit, that isn't the busy being reborn Malko, and have the chance to add a final splendor to the thing. That's what I thought I had followed.

Now Malko is active, involved with the fortress, doing stuff, and has that splendor rather than working through his rebirth.

What exactly is the situation here, and where did my understanding go wrong?

Killing vampires is his rebirth, you guys made a splendor that works by consuming and repurposing vampires, who better to use it than the god who has been so drained by the Red Court? He's planning to get his blood back.

Does this only mean forest or also cities within it?

Because if it includes cities, the death bubble is not much of a hindrance. I rather doubt there are many reds in some farming communities.

It is also very helpful for the White Council if they plan to attack Red Court assets if the war is still going. If they can expect most lower level Reds to be just gone, it seriously cuts into the Courts combat strength.

It gets even scarier if they can get some mojo going to penalize the resistance roll of the older Reds. Or Molly makes a separate splendor for that.

Also, if anyone supernatural complains about Molly building this, we can legit claim this was just an unanticipated side effect.

It was only meant to keep out the bloody mosquitos.

Everyone understands the lengths someone will go to to get rid of the blasted menaces.

Fucking up the Red Court was just a happy side effect.

The human body is well capable of removing dirt from anywhere that bacteria is. Using similar methods as it uses to remove bacteria.
It has to be on natural soul which means most cities are excluded.

I mean it obovously doesn't work if the vampire is standing on sidewalk or inside, but if the vampire is standing on someone's lawn it seems like that would work.

I'm fairly sure it's harder to remove microscopic pieces of soil from bloodstream and tissue than it is to break down bacteria. Soil is at least partially silicon, which our immune system cannot break down.
Will You Introduce the Other Exalts?
If so I can't wait for a Sidreal.
We have knowledge of one solar shard, one abyssal shard, and what most of us suspect is one lunar shard that can be released. The consensus so far is "at the very least not unless we can control who gets them".

REH also includes Sovereign Elemental Sway for the purposes of allowing Malko influence over this. For a fascination of this sort he essentially has the ability to rewrite details of the landscape that relate to the soil. So even if throwing dirt around didn't work he can put a thumb on the scale to make valid earth unnaturally hard to avoid.

Also worth noting that dying to the splendor is a really awful way to go.

It bypasses the simplest and most accessible vampire toughness powers because those typically boost soak and not stamina directly, and you resist damage from the poison with a flat stamina roll. It only does one damage a round, but to clear it you need three sequential successful difficulty nine resistance rolls. Failure means the count resets.

I have no doubt that informed and prepared elders could live to regret the experience, but the average target will probably panic dump their blood pool on powers which at best only manage to prolong their suffering a bit.

Imagine the fields before Chichen Itza, but thousands of feral reds are thrashing on the ground as they dissolve over the course of approximately thirty seconds.

Even if a vampire would be totally safe in a high rise I really doubt they'd willingly stick around a place where that is a possibility.

So, with how things are going, we might want to consider doing some decisive blows to Red Court before they realize we have shifted from "supporting our allies" to "active war effort with a dedicated focus on destroying them as an organization". TO do this, we can do several things:
1) Go after other captive gods. Leave Red Court without at least one source of their power
2) Help the resistance / stabilize the government. Splendors and such can be used.
3) Buy Endless Torment Emanation and just curse the hell out of Red Court
4) Brew a new plague. @DragonParadox we still have the designs of the Hope Plague, right? How hard would it be to make a plague that, after you suffer from it (let's say flu-like symptoms and low lethality, no higher than COVID, probably, again, like seasonal flu) makes your bodily fluids poisonous to supernatural creatures? Make it airborne.

5) Crank the dial up to 11 and launch of a full military assault on Chichen Itza with forces ferried over from Sanctuary.

News Broadcaster on TV: "In other news from around the world, tragedy struck today when a previously undetected meteor exploded over a remote region of the Yucatan peninsula."
