Alright, I got precisely what I wanted from John Henry: the ability to make forcefields. It's a shame Chatroom's power isn't as emphasized, but that was always secondary for me personally. Besides, we have comms to make up for it.

Everyone forgets that Opale also makes barriers, too.

I mean, two good defenders are better than one, but we had a defense specialist before.
I voted Bulwark-related powers fully knowing that Opale can already make her own. Honestly it's just always good to have double protection imo. I also agree with @Alectai 's take of their positioning: Opale's more of a frontliner while John's a backliner. Between the two, John's spacial awareness could be crucial in giving the right time to defend.

There's also the fact that there's gonna be multiple teams soon and we kinda have to decide who goes with who.

I will have you know I produce a high-pitched squeal when I read this.
I lol'ed at this one. John Henry knows what's up.

So I want to point out something as a reminder. Telekinesis also involved Clairvoyance + Energy Manipulation but is not this one, that synergy is still up in the air with the 3rd tag unknown.
I think the reasonable options would be Mental Manipulation, Elemental Manipulation or even Fundamental Force Manipulation. The latter is especially compelling to me given the breath of what can be accomplished with telekinesis, given the example of Scarlet Maturity using it to manipulate his own atoms.

Anyway, so, all in favor of having John-Henry assist Belle with the active protection of Yara? Probably with Leizi as well.
Well, I did vote both Red Rush Redux and Helicopter Parent for a reason. :V

I'd like to point you into this general direction
I got into the mood for this

Féth Fíada(6) + Chatroom(4) + Crimson Soprano(2) + Mister Hunch (1) = 13 Potency
Keywords: [Clairvoyance] x3, [Ally Empowerment] x2, [Elemental Manipulation], [Mental Manipulation], [Energy Manipulation], [Solar Absorption], [Invisibility], [Flight]

In addition to a combo that almost guarantees [Fundamental Force Manipulation], this set has triple [Clairvoyance] and double [Ally Empowerment] in addition to Mental Manipulation which in my head could be work as a psychic telepath maybe?

We could call him

The Supervisor.

Give him a techy looking visor and everything to sell it.

We're still dangerously vulnerable to psychic attacks though, which is worrying. Hopefully we can stave that off again using mundane protections.

"John said the same thing," Sandra huffs, "Fine. But you better take good care of that girl. She's got a good kid, you hear? John's taken a real shine to her."
She's a good kid,
or
She's got a good heart, that kid, you hear?

Thi sisn't a synergy theory, just a "power crossover" one.

I think Construct Creation can absorb other tags. If we have Construct Creation and Enhanced Strength, the constructs will be super strong. If they have Enhanced Speed, they'll be super fast.

Obviously, if they're paired with Elemental Manipulation, the element in question will be what they're made out of.

This was such a fun chapter. I love how the Rhodes family is just kind of folding in the Ibises (and yet Dr. Ibis senior still doesn't know about Natasha). And then pulling in Ellie, too? Bless that family.

It's funny how we keep rolling psychic sensitivity, hopefully Ellie doesn't get it too, or Rhys is going to feel left out.

Honestly, if it happens for a third time then does the bit just become canon and Minor Psychic Sensitivity is just tacked on to every empowering?

Injury to a human, or injury to a superhuman?
An injury level that would count narratively. It's not a hard or fast amount.
For the red barriers, does John Henry have to maintain contact with the object or does it maintain itself even without his touch?
They persist.
And now we have three people who can chat with R-Train!
John Henry only has minor sensitivity, so there's no guarantee he can. At most, you know he'll be able to at least sense the existence of psychic fields.
Mechanically, what if the object is self-healing?
The red barriers will disperse after absorbing a certain amount of energy and need to be reapplied.
Would John have to specifically make a hole in a shield to let one of Mona's blasts through, or can they be made one-way?
They're impermeable expect for when their directly applied to something. He would need to make a hole.
