Oh yeah for sure, that's why I said worst case. Ideally it would never come to that, but I wanted a nuke option available if we needed one.
Of course, for all we know, and probably relatively likely, improving the local economy could very well help set the stage for it to blow up in rebellion anyway. But at least it won't ratchet up paranoia among the local leaders that benefit from the current order like arming and training them would.

Which, overall, is likely gonna be a consistent headache for us. So many ways for actions to have knock-on effects. Though, another factor, having an economy that relies on conflict isn't exactly good when there isn't much conflict around, even if we have merc groups everywhere due to them being the general answer whenever the Republic needs anything above what their navy of cops can handle, which is too often.

The usual flotilla of memes and interesting ideas that tends to follow the start of a Magoose quest I see.

Jar Jar could genuinely try to end slavery and have everyone else convinced it was someone else's idea and go after them instead while leaving jar jar alone to keep doing it :V

Also when you have tens of thousands of Jedi in a galaxy of trillions upon trillions, most people go their entire lives never seeing one, and perhaps only hearing rumours about them at best.

Never underestimate the swamp aliens in politics, they know how to deal with muddy conditions.
