Would you Distort or manifest EGO?

"No. Madoka's going to be fine. The key differences between EGO and Distortion are physical, not mental."
Did you got this in reverse?

Curtain Call for the Reception of The Adult Who Tells Lies
FINALLY! SHE'S DEAD!

It needed a surprise visit from Dadyin but it was good!

Wait, if he was the Earth, then who is the Moon, then?

Or was it Ayin at all? Was that X in the past?

While there are advantages to killing him and all that...

I feel like that'll set a bad example for the kids.

And well...it feels wrong too.

[X] Help him recover fully

We are good people. An adult who shows the kids the better things.

There's no reason to look past someone who has largely been helpful, harmless, and technically already died once and not help them simply due to the perceived notions that they will be dangerous in the future.

If we are to kill him, at the very least, we should do it while looking him in the eyes (or is it Orb?).

That was X, in the purest sense. Not X the Abnormality, but the original X, divided from Ayin in the same way Abel, Abram, and Adam are. Moon would've been Ayin proper.

I see I see!

So it was X. Just not our X.

I suppose this would be...the Canon X?

The one that faded into the Light alongside Ayin. But our X did that too.

Are they both sides of the same coin? One who lived in the past and one who wishes for the future?

Would that be Yin-Yang or would it be more like aberrations?

I see no need to be unnecessarily rude to Argalia. That said, our goals absolutely do not align if he still wishes for a world full of distortions.

... Honestly, I'd be perfectly willing to throw Argalia back to The City if possible. they can deal with that mess. (and I do mean the city proper and not just the library.)

Despite everything he does mean well..... honestly I'm amazed he's actually still willing to trust carmen or X considering all gleanable details
booked individuals afterall have a perception stretched beyond themselves and they likely got to see quite a bit before they went feral
Also the adults defeat reminded me of this

I have nothing else to say.

(Well, I've actually got one more thing to say.)

Madoka's E.G.O. is really quite interesting, I almost thought it was a weird amalgam of distortion and E.G.O. at first. How much of her original body remains I wonder? Or maybe it's an immaterial question now. The "clothing" part being more like a full body prosthetic is a unique take on it, and I love how it incorporates the idea of Madoka's continual sacrifices across all the timelines. Brings to mind the Madoka symphony from the Magia Record transformation sequence for Ultimate Madoka:

I don't know how Argalia will react to the sudden shift in team composition away from distortion and to E.G.O. but he's been a fun character so far and betraying him without him attacking first would leave a bitter taste. Even the ideology of his patron goddess Carmen isn't 100% obsessed with distortion, it accepts E.G.O. as a choice though it has a clear bias. I think X's ideology toward the divide has developed along roughly the same lines but in the opposite direction. So either Argalia will learn to accept that or we will come to blows, but that's something for the future.

Backstabbing our allies just because they might become a threat in the future really isn't the kind of example we want to set. Also, strangely enough, Argalia and Carmen have been nothing but helpful to us so far. Sure, Carmen caused several of the children to distort, but you gotta admit that the firepower really came in handy.

The several pivotal E.G.O. manifestations during this battle aren't something she was directly responsible for, but they wouldn't have been possible without Carmen's existence.
