Consider that double Westerlings might give them synergy against us. Getting ganged up on's no fun.That is why I went for double Westerling, trying to get an extra Synergy...
The one who was holding us back was Viserys and the trainer that he picked up for us though...I do not believe that we get any positive synergy from talking to our former sworn shield. The interactions with Tarly have made it clear that he was intentionally holding us back, so I consider that relationship to be of veiled hostility that we were just too young and inexperienced to pick up on without a point of reference.

And he and the Queen are both family, so picking them both is probably going to help us increase the relationship with Johanna.
Besides that, he is still the Commander of the King's Guard and he has a seat in the small council, and maintaining a good relationship with the small council is quite important for our goals

If Harold was our trainer I am pretty sure the wording would have been different...your father gave in and hired a Master-at-arms to train you, declaring that if you were going to keep getting into fights you should at least learn to do it properly.
He has been protecting Nyra since she was born, he is loyal and quite fond of us, and I would rather not completely neglect that relationship...I simply see no reason that he would be positively inclined to us given his past reactions to our actions and that is literally the only thing that he is useful for right now. His role on the Small Council is wholly tangential to the issues we are facing right now and I see no good reason trying to butter him up when we have a number of other Small Council members that are less negatively inclined to us.
Whereas it would certainly help, having a great relationship with our siblings is not a total guarantee, the conspirators can always claim that they are defending his rights and use him as a puppet...
Myrcella loved Tommen very much and would have never betrayed him, but Arianne and her friends would have declared her Queen regardless of that, and then Civil War ensures...
And I assume that Rhaenyra is also quite fond of her old Sworn Shield as well...Harrold Westerling was Rhaenyra's Sworn Shield for nearly a decade. He's quite fond of her.
Hey, I am down for being the Cool Big Sister for our future siblings, but as I said before there are ways in which we may end up on opposite sides of the war despite loving each other...Could it go wrong and lead to a more tragic Dance where the two claimants like each other like brothers but are forced to fight? Of course it can, this is ASOIAF, but like I said, it's better to try and risk it than to do nothing and be seen as the cold older sister that don't care I think.
