[X] Plan: Fight Smarter And Harder

Between the two standard plans (write-ins aren't all that workable due to our flaw), Start with a Finisher feels like a better idea, since rushing towards our second form would shore up our position while we try and see how our foe fights.

I Agree that write in are probably not good and I also agree going to gargoyle fast is probably a good idea but im not so sure about casting the seal move right away. That makes us go back to Atray once used and im not exactly sure i want to risk missing a finisher after loosimg oir build up. Also by design of tropes us using our finisher as our opening gambit is probably going to cause or loss (and death). So im more inclined for slow build up myself

[X] Plan: Fight smarter not Harder
-[X] (1st Upgrade) Mental
-[X] Pressure Points

--[X] Say a cool catchphrase?
--[X] Burning bright; even against the consuming Darkness.
-[X] Plan Stab Or Block, Check Out This Glock

Edit: this better?

Please make sure to add dashes (-[ ]) to your votes below the plan name so that they're all put as part of the plan. For the catchphrase, make it a double dash (—)

@MrKermie IF we manage to win here (and given how our rolls have gone and how this is a first encounter that's a BIG if), is there a possibility we could siphon some of our opponent's power to create a Form Change Card (or whatever the form change objects are)? Because given the Data/Code theme for her, there's a certain yugioh monster that would be very fitting as a Kaijin Rider/Pseudo-Rider Form Change to be gained from beating her.... it even has a scarf!

Also Kamen Rider Roze: Codebreaker goes KINDA HARD as a Form name.

(Looks at plans)

I wish, but first you'll have to find [REDACTED] and ask them a few things (which, cough cough, you were supposed to ask them this week…) Then go back to Kuromi and try again.

I know if we (somehow) survive our next search will auto succed but Im still advocating for a tracker spell in the future. We may use it, we may not. But hey if we ever need to track someone it could be useful!

Also im comcerned so many people are advocating to use the finisher plan since that would drop us back into stage one if used and were standing there if we use the transformation move... especially since we dont fully know what the Dark MaGi Assasin will pull out (apperently adaptive weakness?). And thats ignoring the guild techniques... I know its probably better to reach stage 2 as fast as possible but im nervous... its never been good to start a fight with a finisher it always ends up backfiring in shows, especially against Elite enemies... and Im Asuming Kuromi is at least leutenant level or somewhere near that level...

Stab Or Block, Check Out This Glock isn't any better, since it's main strategy is to try and fish for a Pierce Weakness and gamble on landing a hit with the gun while not attempting to transition to our stronger forms, which leaves us squishy. We don't even know how our opponent changes resistances and weaknesses, to the point where one could argue that we'll never get the Pierce Weakness needed to use the gun and get damage done.

Doesn't that mean that Rei is subjected to two risky strategies that could backfire on her?

Given our Flaw, our tactical capabilities aren't going to be all that good (this was inevitable, given that the winning pick for character was Kaijin Rider), which means we're mostly making due through our power and relatively simple tactics, though said tactics will be easy to counter (and our flaw also makes write-ins unreliable and the thread doesn't seem all that keen on bumping up our Mental stat to be able to ignore our urges and follow plans that are against our nature). We can only hope that following orders of someone more competent at tactics can mitigate our Flaw.

...ok... i can see your point. This is going to be a cluster fuck. Its sad that so many people are voting for Phys though.. I at least went mental. An theres even a plan that basically is the same as the leadimg one but with mental instead of phys.

Not gonna win i assume but eh. Changing my vote

If it makes everyone feel better, fighting alongside Akemi can help Rei not be so Unga Bunga.

Alright, since we're almost hitting the 6 hour mark before voting ends, I'm gonna start rolling for initiative and maybe a few saving throws.

(Not all combat checks will be rolled for publicly. This is to not clog up the page space.)
Kermie threw 1 20-faced dice. Reason: ??? rolls for initiative… Total: 1
