Timestop bombs. Way to stoke my paranoia.
Countermagic just jumped WAY up on my priority list.

We killed a Warden.
Murder is Meat should proc for that, I think.


QUESTION
Can we see the running Warden? All Things Betray is still active, and that gives -3 DC to Perception rolls.
If we can see it, MHM can grapple him no problem; its a line of sight ability.

Mind Hand Manipulation is line of sight:
The Infernal combines conviction and Essence to bend the world around her to her implacable will. A faint shimmer in the air marks the use of this power as she lifts and moves objects telekinetically.
System: After a moment spent in concentration, the Infernal spends 1 Essence and rolls her Intelligence + Occult against difficulty 6. This Charm remains active for the rest of the scene, and allows her to telekinetically lift and move objects within her line of sight. If she tries to wrest an object away from another character, or perform fine manipulations, her successes form her dice pool to do so. Otherwise, her successes on the activation roll determine her strength in lifting and moving objects:
All Things Betray is still active, giving us -3DC to Perception rolls.
Thats in addition to TLF, CCC and BSM still being active and giving another -5 DC; we should be able to snag this guy without even moving.

Taking the time to figure out what that bomb did is going to be a skill roll just the same and will take focus since you are dealing with strange magic, that is an action. You could try to flurry them and take +1 DC to both. They are different kinds of actions.

It's shackles, and I think that tainted Yin should be used once.
Also, strength is misspelled in the warden pinned notice.

Did the drones only have one hit box or something? SCCP doesn't do very much damage IIRC?

The slaver drones took most of their damage from Lash, that 1 Bashing Damage put them over the edge

RATIONALE
Grabbing the Warden with MHM:
Normal difficulty is ~6DC
We have a -5 DC bonus (TLF 3 + CCC 3 + BSM 1 - All Is Poison 2)
20 dice (Int+Occult + Excellency + Stunt 2)

Examining the Timestop Effect:
Normal difficulty is ~6DC
-5DC bonus ( TLF 3 + CCC 3 + BSM 1 - All Is Poison 2)
18 dice(Wits 3 + Occult 5 + Excellency 8 + Stunt 2)


A +1DC malus to doing both at the same time wont materially affect our efforts. We should succeed at both.
Plus, if we capture the fleeing Warden, we can...ask him questions about the timestop thing if we have to, and dont want to use our Crown here unless absolutely necessary.

Whatever Lash did knocked a memory loose. No clue what this could be though.
Molly continues to be at her strongest when fighting in Hell.

@DragonParadox Does that Warden qualify for MiM?

I take it that the three iron elementals are free since we destroyed the Warden they were bound to, so to free the other three Elementals we need to destroy the fleeing Warden?

Yes and to get another three you have to kill the one who got nailed into the rock, though Lydia and Tiffany can handle that one.
 
Nergui Time-Frozen by Yin Bomb
Well this is going to be a problem. We would have saved time here, but this is an anchor around our throat that could be serious trouble.

We really need to work on keeping all our alchemy knickknacks around. It's possible that anti magic potion we have a recipe for could help here. Not sure what else we can do about this here and now, most of our stuff is too slow.

Maybe a trinket? Molly is typically bad at those but with our DC adjusters being what they are right now we're a lot better off. They're also specifically intended to be build on the fly out of scrap while under fire, so we can potentially get it done faster.

Trinkets are weird and can interact with the supernatural in useful ways even though they're not technically enchanted. See being able to make true sunlight grenades.

Maybe time manipulation would typically be out of their scope, but under these circumstances I'm not so sure. One of the benefits of that book we wrote was supposed to have for others was that it would reveal laws of nature in the hells to a degree nearly unrivaled outside of the Yama Kings themselves. Stuff that could be exploited if you're willing to enter them to try it. We have the uncut version of that information on tap and are draw some significant power from the Wicked City right now. I don't see why we couldn't abuse the same loophole he is.

We've got a few dead cyborgs; that's plenty of parts to harvest for a mad scientist time prodder.

A lot of this is contingent on what we learn of the effect, but it's worth considering our options now.
