The reasoning is described above. The synergies summarized are:

Splintered Gale Incarnation + Alchemy 4 = clones in our Sactuary grinding stats that we don't normally get
Maggot Mana Plague + Alchemy 4 = solving issues with whampire minions, setting up mass recruitment of young whampires, including in Las Vegas. Possibly solving issues with half rhampires too, but that's arguable.
Alchemy 4 + Warding of Divine Ancestry = shaping defense + armor for Lydia with charm boosting properties to craft next turn

The idea is:
Fully spec Tiffany into a healer
Spec Lydia into a summoner
Give Molly options and possibly solve some of AP hell.

We already voted for a Hell of five billion people with superhuman soldiers wearing power armor.
It doesnt make a qualitative power difference.

Fomor power levels are a cooperative experience with the QM.
Used for different thing, as can clearly be seen by how you're using it instead of just recruiting form our hell.


Burner phone works fine in Chicago, precisely because we've been moving people into the place.
Six months ago, it would have been a bad idea. In 9 months, Id be comfortable for normal day to day work.
Short of heavy hitters showing up, and thats basically Plot.
We're across town and they get jumped away from water. If it takes us a half hour to show up that's still too slow.


All poisons are liquid poisons.
They have to dissolve to have any effect on your biology.
Magic is fair, but fomor have access to Gifts to mitigate.
That is bullshit; the charm specifically calls out liquid poisons as a distinct category where no other exalt's anti-poison charm does. A rag of chloroform isn't covered.




I've been hit with an accelerating car as an adult. Hit and run at sub-50 mph; the driver was accelerating out of a restaurant parking lot at night. I walked away from it without a scratch. One of my siblings has done much the same thing, though they were a kid at the time. Neither of us are 5-dot badasses in anything, we just happened to fall properly.

I dont agree with that argument. Not in a world where Abyssals are allowed to make custom Risen for 5 Essence, and Solars get to make Mages. And the assortment of fomor breeds I pointed out makes it clear that fomor are supposed to do everything from battle to seduction; the swiss-army knives of minions.

And yes, fomarchs and ferectoi ARE supposed to be able to 1v1 at least young werewolves. Thats the design intent.
Werewolves just happen to fight in packs, unlike fomarchs and ferectoi.
As was pointed out, doesn't the fact that everyone else gets to do it explicitly and we don't tell you something? Fomarchs being able to do that is irrelevant because we're not supposed to be making them.


My primary thinking at the moment is to have one in stasis in Sanctuary, a second active in Sanctuary as Molly's regent, and 1-2 in Chicago.

Because fomor get access to werewolf Gifts, which alleviates my concerns about the information security vulnerabilities of putting a Molly clone out there. Couple that with learning Path Sorcery Fortune 1: Death Curse, and handling a Molly clone becomes the equivalent of juggling a live grenade.
Didn't work out for Orpheus, and again I think you're taking that the wrong way. Smuggling werewolf gifts into an exalt isn't really what any of this is for, and the book goes to great lengths to make that impossible for a reason.

You dont spend 4 dots and 3m per person for the same; if that was all intended, it would just use the Spawning Pit Infliction charm, which mass produces randos for free.
That's chump change essence wise for an infernal with prep time, and the benefit is mass producing trash. Kidnap or indoctrinate random people, then stick them with a few useful powers and a couple awful flaws that immediately kick in if they betray you, presuming you've got the other relevant charm.
 
No much point in getting Lydia Companions of the Hunter if you aren't also getting Molly IDU. How many dogs and crows do you expect her to train?
She already has one familiar, and Carraige of the Ankou is basically super-suited for her to get another in a form of warhorse.

Hmm, as an alternative, drop MMP and 2nd dots of alertness and awareness, which frees up 12 dots. Use those to get Inner Devils. That's an option, yes.
 
I just ask you to find somewhere 4 points to redeem nightmares... Yes, this is not the optimal distribution of experience, but I doubt that otherwise there will be a chance to get rid of them. Plus I think this arc should show Molly's full growth including things like that.
 
Why? Who are you planning to use it on next turn? MMP + Alchemy are a decent substitute, as we get to create whampire-variants from potential whampires without murder being involved. We try this with Isabela, then recruit others.
Honestly? Because I like the themes and investing in MA and awakening other's CHI and allowing them to use Demon Arts is cool. And unlike Alchemy, we do not need reagents to do so.

Gives us multi- attack option, gives us the ability to directly interact with lay lines and Mana as well as create temporary Essence holders. Makes buying attributes for all of our party members in the future cheaper, anyone we train, anyone we feel like giving the potions to really. Increases our awareness.

Alchemy and MMP together puts a lot of the issues I and others had with it, but with the rulings we have for HS+ESS it's super inefficient.

The greatest bottleneck we have is Molly's time, and actually using it does take that on a regular basis even if you completely disregard every sense of caution and complication.

Making a splendor that can feed vampires as much as they in particular can eat takes our time once, then can be handed off to a minion.

Infinite power isn't really practical for a variety of reasons, but with a controlled dining hall to work out if we can make it easy enough. If we shell out for an AoE effect we could have a literal dining hall, capable of feeding everyone standing in playground sized space as much as they can take, though it'd be a bring your own intimacy feeding ground under those conditions.

On the rest, this is the first buy point since DP gave a thumbs up to custom charms and we have a lot of exp. It may be a good plan to go over some of those options and see what's approved before we start making plans.

I would perfer that Molly get False Hope Springs to deal with Harry's wound especially since it costs less total XP and has many uses, but I will admit that I am at a loss for what we buy Lash if not the lore of awakenings.

You gather more faith potential by growing in faith to the demon, and in the lore the conceit is that demons are getting access to divine power again by intercepting their thralls' connection to god so they take his power unwillingly where it's no longer given freely.

Is a celestial exaltation too slow and stingy with power or something?

Thematically I have issues with it. Getting Attribute buffs? Sure. Pacts? No.
Its not worship, but it feels too much on the fringe for Molly as a practicing Catholic, and as a teenage girl who considers Lash a sorta rival for a dude's attentions.
 
I like Yog's plan, but I would prefer purchasing perfect defence. After all, the EIPP was also a contested spending, but it have turned out very useful this arc. Also, the automaton showed that Molly still has some flaws in defence.

I am super hesitant about custom charms. As to MMP + Alchemy it's not just about feeding. Right now whampires we catch before they kill someone are suspended in the half-turned stage. MMP allows us to bypass that, and possibly results in production of something entirely new.

I am fairly sure providing some limited amount of MMP would be a free action, like Malcoffee production is.

I still want Alchemy a lot (Alchemy 3 at least is critical for crafting), but IDU synergies well with Lydia's Companios of the Hunter and carriage of the Ankou, allowing her to ride a demonic dinosaur into battle.

The thing that gets them stuck is that they need a certain amount of power to finish waking up and gaining control isn't it? Unlike reds it's primarily about the juice at this stage.

Giving them literally as much food as they can take with should be enough to glut the demon into calming down.
